For $4, it has a chokeful of ingredients consisting of button and shiitake mushrooms, minced and lean meats as well as liver. The noodle was too cooked for my liking. I added vinegar to life its taste. Somehow, it lives in its shadow of the main branch.

Taste has improved from my last visit. It's still a good goto place when u need your BCM fix.

Quite nice bak chor mee. But inflation everything is going sky high. We have to earn more money haha.

This is the sister stall of the more famous one located in the nearby Taman Jurong Market. Literally a sister stall as it was set up by the sister of the other stall (since taken over by the nephew). I won't wade into which one is better - pointless really given that comes down to tribal loyalties, but this one usually has the shorter queue. When it comes down to it this is a perfectly good bowl of noodles, done al dente as it should be. They also use button mushrooms (in addition to the shiitake). Definitely worth having.

They serve both the usual dry version as well as a soup version. The former is t prepared as dry as I would’ve liked so the noodles end up being over cooked and slightly soggy. Taste wise is pretty decent and portion is generous for the price. Queue is not as long as its neighbour Seri so if you can’t bear the long wait for Seri then you can settle for this.

Good old Bak Chor Mee stall in the Taman Jurong food centre that is authentic and different from the run of the mill stores that are found in the food courts these days. Lots of liver that is cooked to the right texture. And prices are really affordable.

My go-to for bak chor mee. All variations (mee pok / mee kia / mee tai bak, spicy / non spicy, soup / no soup). This stall is as good as the original stall at the Taman Jurong Hawker Centre opposite this place. Might be slightly more expensive than the original stall, but there are fewer people queuing and there's aircon. It's $4 for the normal bowl, $5 for a bigger bowl. Mee kia is cooked al-dente which is exactly how I like it.
