His patience with instructions with all 16 students to achieve the results together is commendable. A very hardworking and dedicated Chef. Will surely attend more courses conducted by him. Loved the delicious Red bean buns that we made.

Just recently attend the Make Basic Breads course. Though it was conducted in Mandarin, as an Indian I found no issues completing the 5 days, thoroughly enjoying every day's end as we achieved the different breads. This was made easy by Chef Alex Yen, easy hands on learning. The ability for every student to achieve in unison is remarkable. The recipe manual that were in Chinese and English made my learning easy. Thanks Chef also for answering all our questions on baking. Your skill and knowledge in bread making is awesome. Thanks NC SATHIAN

Just went for a 3 day course to learn Artisan Bread. The course was conducted by chef Alex Yen. Throughout the course, the part that excite me the most was scoring the bread, as it allows me to express creativity. I got to learn a lot of tips from chef Alex, such as different ways of shaping bread, scoring different patterns, and how can we bake the bread using our home oven, which were very valuable. Aside from having a good chef, my classmates were also very helpful, and patient. We were able to help one another, and communicate properly. - Sheryl ( 30/5/22 - 1/6/22)

Shun and team are lively and the pace is good. Lots of drinking and laughter as they introduce the different types of wine I would say it's good for entry drinkers for a start. Highly recommended : )

Attended New World Wines.. Good for people who wants a leisure class with some learning opportunities.. speaker is a Japanese gentleman with good English and is good of him to keep the class casual. For participants who prefer structured class with in-depth knowledge in an Academic sense, WSET is the way to go and also a sure pathway to reach Master of Wine. Would still recommend this class for people who wants to learn about Wines... and easiest way to start is from the new world.

ACI has the most impressive and elegant learning setting among it's competitors in the food education sector. These components function more than cosmetic. The new age, high tech workshops set the right tone for safety and orderliness from the start of every class. The ratio of trainer to student is balanced for an effective learning. In short, I had the most pleasant experiences with the ACI. I am leaving this review to thank everyone (from the first hospitality touch point to the indispensable backend) - Joyce, Rene, Jie Min, Daryl, Fuyu, Jade, Linda, Chef Fabio, Chef Michael Lau, Cheryl Chen, and Gn Ying Wei, . I have only all the good things to share about ACI to family, friends, acquaintances, other academies! Keep it up ACI! Thank you once again for the most memorable learning journey. Addendum: Review was based on Covid-19 season of 2 students per workstation.

Quality learning experience! I’ve attended a couple of pastry-making courses taught by Chef Alex Yen, who is visibly passionate in imparting the various skills and techniques he has gained over the years as a professional chef. Chef Alex is not only highly knowledgeable in the subject matter, he is also considerate and tactful as a person. He makes the effort to engage everyone, and freely shares the useful tips with regards to baking. 5β˜… for a stellar trainer! You’ll definitely learn a lot when you attend Chef Alex’s classes!
