Good Hokkien mee. Flavourful stock. Large portion of noodles with 4 small fresh prawns, squid slices, and pork bits for the $5 plate.

Came over to try out this stall, after numerous recommendations by my friend. There was quite a queue when we reached. So we reckoned that the standard should be good. We ordered $5.00 version and it took a while for the Hokkien Mee to be served. Judging from the initial look, it seemed delicious, it was watery, with lots of eggs and generous portion of noodles. After mixing the chilli with the noodles, I took my first bite, I was very disappointed. The Hokkien Mee was bland, no flavour. The noodles didn’t absorb any of the stock or actually the prawn stock didn't have any taste either. There was no evident of Wok Hei taste too. It's just a mediocre plate of Hokkien Mee, which I felt, I have eaten better ones. I would give this stall a miss.

Very very tasty. Easily one of the best in Singapore. Lots of garlic bits, noodles cooked just right & nice gravy. Chilli is also very very good. Friendly hawker couple. Close on Monday. Opens for lunch & dinner to about 8 pm.??? ?

Fragrance cook, have some cockles in, 2 slices of fish cake. Chilli not spicy at all for me.

Smell nice when it being fried. Taste wise not as fantastic. Not enough garlic. $4 for smallest plate come with 2 fresh prawns.

Don't be misled by the stall name, this stall serves char kway teow too. And the CKT is quite good, moist with bit of charred aroma, lightly sweetened and soft kway teow with good amount of bean sprout. Nice.
