β β β β β Really various fresh seafood here!
I did enjoyed food a lot.
The set menu include many kinds of seafoods such as steamed spiny top shell, soy sauce marinated shrimp and others.
The main Korean style raw fish or sashimi was great!
After I finished, spicy fish stew was accompanied.
Here is really good because of not only food but also its kindness.
All staff are very kind and helpful.

β β β β β If you look at the reviews before mine, there are a few clear trends that I can verify:
1. Come with Korean(s): the person managing front of house is a Korean auntie, I don't think I need to explain this point too much. But take it seriously!!
2. Service is... Not quite what you expect? But I'm told that it's worse at seafood wet markets in Korea (which this place is loosely based off of?) Front of house has language barriers, upselling, is not very coordinated, you get the idea.
3. You're kinda coerced to order set menus, especially when they are busy. This is true, and I try to be understanding when kitchens are busy and all that, but it does make for an experience not for everyone since the prescribed size might be too much for some groups, etc, vice versa. Not to mention maybe you can't get that a la carte thing you wanted.
That being said, I first went to a restaurant like this at pohang in bukit timah, which I quite liked, but I have to say this place is better in many regards. We had whatever set they prescribed for our party of four, and each on of the seafood items felt really fresh, and the taste were all good. I particularly liked the rice dish served with the pickling juice from the raw prawns, the pickled raw prawns themselves, and the soup made from your sashimi carcasses. If I could, I would eat that rice dish all the time.
The somewhat letdown would be the acorn jelly, it was not bad but I've had better elsewhere.

β β β β β Went there with my boyfriend and lady boss recommended the $200++ set. It was amazing! Lots of seafood, our tummies were exploding by the end of the meal. Would have been great for 3-4 pax as well. Really fresh seafood with friendly staffs. Mostly sashimi dishes so I do not recommend the set for those who donβt like raw food. You can choose the ala carte items as well.

β β β β β We ordered a small sashimi set, and the portion was really generous for two.
The seafood are very fresh, yummy and I miss how sweet seafood soup can be.
Overall I found it quite authentic. Will definitely come back again with my Korean friend :)

β β β β β It seems the owner has been changed recently, all the dishes were fresh and quality was great - different from the reviews some months ago. Ordered midium set for 2 persons, but it's pretty much for 2, and we took the spicy soup to the home. All looked very neat and well plated. I should have taken photoes of all in the course (but I think somebody would do so soon). Will come back again for sure.

β β β β β Sashimi is fresh & I love the oyster the most !
The braised fish has a little fishy smell so we didnβt really touch it & japchae is so so only. But the raw beef yukhoe & ganjang gejang crabs are so nice ~ The clam soup & the sujebi tastes good too !! Overall price is acceptable. The staff serving us is a Chinese lady and sheβs polite & friendly.

β β β β β Hands down one of the most authentic Korean dining experiences I've had. To attest to that, half the customers at the restaurant were Korean. Being truly authentic also meant that flavours weren't pared down to suit local taste buds. Eg perilla leafs and marinated crabs, things you wouldn't normally find at most Korean restaurants.
Ordered the set for 3-4 persons. Can definitely feed way more if you have small eaters in the group. See pictures for full spread (missing a seafood jeon I did not photograph).
Personally, my favourite dishes were the oysters, beef tartare, clam soup, and marinated crab with mixed rice.
