β β β β β One of famβs regular zichar place - the aunties here always very friendly and welcoming ? apart from their renowned chicken rice, the zichar dishes are a hit too - esp love the fried eggplant topped with pork floss and the coffee pork ribs (no gamey taste, well-balanced flavour). Always a joy dining at this boon tong kee branch!
Their roast chicken sells out really fast, but their white chicken is really good too!

β β β β β We ordered takeaway for a whole chicken and their special sauce pork ribs. The pork ribs was nice, though the sauce was slightly too sweet for some of us. Chicken is always good and our go-to option. Quick and easy takeaway ordering too!

β β β β β Ordered half a steamed chicken, rice, braised eggs, drinks and fried bitter gourd with salted egg. The last dish just screams SALTY, because it is ONE whole salted egg cut into wedges/quarters. In most places, its either salted egg sauce or mashed. This is MADNESS, imagine bitting 1 huge chunk of salted egg... GG... patrons please proceed with caution when ordering this dish. The chicken rice is no longer fragrant, the chicken sub-par; no longer 1 of the best chicken rice around. And, they also no longer give soup (even the hawker 2.50$ chicken rice gives a bowl). Does not recommend and will not eat here anymore.

β β β β β Despite its popularity, found it overpriced and mediocre. Chicken was average, rice was bland and not fragrant, chilli was average, kangkong was only salty, crayfish was pretty good. You can get better chicken rice at plenty of other places in the heartlands, at a much cheaper price. Only thing good was the service.
