★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rustic place with a kampong atmosphere that came with a history since 1960s. It's not everyone's cup of tea but we liked it very much for that rundown atmosphere & friendly owner & stall holders.
(Note : there are fans only)
There are only three stalls here, drink stall run by the owner, malay stall & chinese cai fan stall. We usually go for the mutton or beef rendang.
The place is popular with workers from nearby aerospace companies and the food usually runs out before 1pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really a very cosy or comfortable place if dine in. But for takeaway, this is a rather popular place especially with the Malay stall. Good taste and reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place that seem to be stuck in the 60s, 70s era. Malay food stall is most popular with a good variety for nasi Padang. The Chinese food is not bad too.
Support the canteen before it's demolished for a souless building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They strictly didn't allow me to take photographs even of the food. There are 3 stalls- Chinese Cai Fan, Malay Nasi Padang and a drink stall that also sells some Chinese dim sum i.e. BAO. We had the Malay Nasi Padang- nasi briyani, marinated fried chicken, and an assortment of vegetables. It was a hearty meal and there is an option to eat indoor or outdoors.
Love this quaint place stuck in a historical time capsule. Hope it will remain open for a long time so one can reminisce about the good old days once in a while. They don't open on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A blast from the past...Worth a visit for the kopi, fried rice and rendang. It has 3 stores: one Chinese, one malay and one kopi store. They open at 6am and close whenever they run out. Simple grub at unbelievable prices...who said Singapore was expensive ?
Frequented by the armed forces people from the nearby camp and hence taking photos inside is not allowed
The canteen has this rustic charm where you can just go, sit with your friends and chill. Highly recommended.
Find the green dustbin with 398....thats the only marker. The place looks like a construction site from outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't know this place existed till we cycled past it on Sun and a fellow cyclist pointed it out. Tried it out this morning and it was really fun and rustic. We thought there'd be mozzies so came prepared. But there weren't any which was good.
Food was described by others - 1 Malay rice 1 Chinese rice n drinks. Nothing spectacular but certainly value for money. The Makcik was very friendly. Bf options at her stall didn't have a wide variety so I ate from the Chinese. Had fish curry chicken and cabbage for 5.10. Reasonable considering there was a whole fish.
We sat outdoors and it was cool under the shade despite a clear hot and sunny morning.
A good find indeed. Need to come back for lunch to try the nasi padang.
