★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little Chapel just outside the walls of the Changi Prison. It used to be a chapel for the prison inmates, but it is turned into a museum now.The prison was built by the British during the colonial era to imprison criminals. After the Japanese forces invaded Singapore the prison is being used to imprison the British and Allied forces which had surrendered. After the Japanese surrendered , the prison is back under the British hands and is once again used as a prison for criminals till today. But the Chapel has been turned into a musuem. It contains materials and informations of its history and the 2nd World War.It is part of Singapore's history and worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Museum gives an overall detail of the war time during 1942-1945 . How the civilians and POWs (Prisoners of War) worked under the ruling of Japanies rulers were very nicely presented. The experiences shared by them gives a great picture of how hard it was even though the time period was even less than 10 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting murals and historical facts about the prisoners kept at Changi during the war who were made to work for small rations of food. Living 5 or 6 to a cell, diseases spread quickly and although the prison was designed to hold 600 people 2,400 were crammed in during the war!
