this is better than the other pastry shops ive tried so far… dont listen to those negative reviews that said it’s pricy cause everything is expensive anyway in singapore. i would rather pay a lil more as long as im satisfied with the quality and flavor; it tasted almost exactly like Japan’s cakes and pastries. this is way better than Chateraise btw so please dont compare. i lived in Japan for a long time and im happy to find this bakeshop that brings back wonderful memories in every bite.

Once you step into the store you get hit with the beautiful aroma of the freshly baked apple pie. I tried the Apple pie and cream puff filled with custard. Apple pie was yummy and super flaky but the price is a bit steep in my opinion. Got a bottle of peach wine to try .

This was given from a friend and I had two pieces of the Fuji Premium Japanese apple pie. It taste great and the skin is still crispy even after keeping in the fridge for one night. Unique taste of apple pie. I would like to try their other pastries next time. Nice.

As with others, we were enticed to enter the shop by all the fresh apple pies we saw in the window as we were walking by, and then the smell of shop as the door opened. We were on our way to dinner so we got two apple pies to go and had one when we got home that night and the other the following morning with our coffee. They remained crispy and were tasty with thin layers of crispy, buttery pastry on the outside and a sweetish apple filling. I’d have preferred a little less sweet and a little more apple flavor myself. There are plenty of other things available but nothing that stood out for us to want to try. I could see picking up more apple pies now and again if I happen to be passing by but wouldn’t go out of my way. The pies were above average but didn’t totally wow us and could have been a tad cheaper. Finally, they only take NETS as their non-cash payment option.

The beautifully glazed apple pies caught our attention as we were strolling by. When we entered the bakery, the fragrant scent of sweet, buttery baked goods wafted past our noses. We decided to purchase a Gouda cheese pastry and an apple pie. At about $6.50 per apple pie, the price is on the steep side, but the pie was generously filled with a sweet apple filling. (No photo of the apple pie as I was too fixated on consuming it instead of snapping a photo.)

Was expecting this outlet to have more premium/ new items but it was pretty much the same except for some freshly baked pastries. The ice cream machine was not in operation yet, which was kinda disappointing. Tried their cream puff ($4.20) which was a notch above average cream puffs. Filling was extremely generous and it was a substantial dessert. However, I honestly don’t think it’s worth the price tag, as the taste is nothing special.

I loved this place! The pastries they sell here are more expensive then the standard chaiteraise shops but the quality is definitely much better! The custard cream puff is absolutely to die for and I would say the puff is almost completely filled with cream. The texture and quality can be immediately felt on the first bite. The other item to recommend is the fuji premium apple pie. It really didn't appeal to me at the first impression because it looked kinda burnt, and was wondering if it was really charred or caused by the sugar. I was also wondering if it would taste good the next day morning and I was surprised the pastry felt so flaky and tasty just after some reheating. The apple was not mashed and presented nicely in a proper slice which tasted so good. Kinda regretted not getting more! A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.

Newly opened, next to Kuro Maguro and behind Japan Rail Cafe. The only place open for dessert if you're there on a Sunday night like we were. The usual high quality and reliable Chateraise stuff, but more atas/premium. Rum and raisin ice cream, and the preserved milk soft serve, were both very fragrant. Rum and raisin in a small tub was not too sweet. Preserved milk soft serve best eaten in a cup as it becomes runny quickly. It reminds of vanilla, but sweeter and stronger flavour. Apple pie is rather freshly made, very flaky crust with bites of sweet fragrant apple fruit inside. Might be even better when toasty hot! But not cheap...
