Always get fresh cream cake and Japanese pastries from this store

I visited this franchise again as I find their imported Japanese pastries really tasty and fresh. Interestingly they were able to keep their cakes and pastries fresh.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I've written in to every possible outlet to let Chateraise know about this staff. I was second in line when paying, when the counter staff named Raymond raised his voice in a very RUDE and UNWELCOMING manner at my sister to 'Can you stand behind the line and stop moving forward!'. Mind you, we were second in line, not FIRST, so there was no way to enter into the counter area. I decided to tell my sister that maybe he did not know there was NO MORE social distancing, in which he said "hah? huh? what you say?". So, I decided to let him know that the government has done away with social distancing. He replied very aggressively that, "Ya but you are getting so close almost going to come into here (the cashier area) then I don't know who is who". 1. My sister was holding her item in hand and had nothing on the cashier table. Moreover, the woman infront of us had her items packed in a bag and was holding them already. 2. How is it possible that he is unable to identify two different groups of people apart? If he is unable to identify the customers items, he could also clarify with them. Raymond is a tall, Chinese man that worked the cashier on Sunday, 29th of May 2022 at 12:50PM. He was very unfriendly and rude to us during that instance. I'd like to request for Chateraise to look into this incident with Raymond that works at the Toa Payoh Hub Chateraise. Thank you. I'd like to also encourage those that have had bad experiences with Raymond to feedback as well, so that they will be able to improve their customer service within their staff.

Great place for desert!! Have tried a few of their cakes and their special cream puffs. All tasted great!! Cakes are a little but pricey but definitely worth it! Highly recommended. Best for takeouts as there is little room within the patisserie to dine. Cash would be the preferred method of payment here as visa is accepted only for orders over a certain amount.

Service was really bad at this Tpy outlet. Staff looking at each other when I was waiting at the counter for payment. And still waiting to see who’s gog to attend to me first. They were baking the cake openly at this outlet. Also, there’s no dry ice provided when I bought so many ice cream.

Another customer cut my queue and the staff just let her go in front of me. Even though I have bought many times from this outlet and was always told when buying cakes from the display cabinet to join the general payment queue. Feel like they don’t treat all customers equally, maybe the lady secretly VIP. Extremely disappointed in the service received, will not be going back to this outlet.

Hi, I went to your toa payoh outlet on Saturday, 5 March and bought a chestnut pastry, fuji apple pie and brownie. When I went home, took a bite at the apple pie I tasted something bitter, I looked at it I noticed that I was given a burnt piece. I have since disposed it. I think that this is very unethical and harmful for the health of consumer, you should not be selling this. As of now, I have highlighted to your Facebook page but was ghosted. Will be awaiting your response, meanwhile I am disappointed.
