★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has always been to this library since young. However, I recently realised that compared to other libraries (eg serangoon), this library is actually pretty damn noisy and really lack seats.
The staff can talk really loudly and laugh without even attempting to muffle their laughter. Also, at about 7.30pm, one of the staff also when to stack the books. First time I realise that stacking books can be so noisy. Also, there is another visitor that is snapping pictures away without offing the damn shuttle. But apprantly no bother cares huh ?♀️
It's really different compared to the one at toa payoh and nex.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's so noisy in this "library". The staff at the counter speak so loudly themselves at the counter, and cannot be bothered to tell people to quiet down. This library is ridiculously noisy, and the seats for studying are the bare minimum. The book selection is also small.
Also to parents who bring kids to the library: please learn to stop being selfish and tell your kid to shut up and not bother others. Maybe also learn what the definition of a library is. A little hint: its not the correct place for your kids to scream their heads off.

The staff was very helpful that she stoped what she was doing and helped me to find books that related to families for me to read to my playgroup. The library should created a cool look for children go to chairs and table for them to take a book to nsit and relax to read book

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very senior friendly place, where books are classified for their reading. Homely feel :)
The volunteers at the library are also very hardworking, rearranging and tidying the place the whole time. All the books are so neat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great layout of the library with the quiet study area tuck in the corner and the computer are group in a separate section. There is a vast area for children with wall to wall books. If there is one suggestion for improvement, there should be a study area in the children section for children and their (1to1) tutor (mother, etc). Whilst I there in the late afternoon I encountered a lady coaching a child. Thus, obviously takeaway the "peace" of a study area.
All shelves are clearly labelled organised and lots of seats for a quiet read too.
