★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had the tendon kuay teow dry and a beef ball soup to accompany.
Overall, it was a delight because the beef ball was firm and full of beef and not flour paste like most other places. It was flavorful and had the umami that is so critical in this dish.
The star of my meal has to be the tendon which was soft at the point of being jelly like yet firm enough to bite into it. IMHO, it is cooked to perfection. The soup was mild and comforting with no overpowering beef smell to spoil the entire meal.
I will be curious to see if there was any excess use of msg at all which I will know in a couple of hours time.
Overall, it us well worth the the $10.00 I paid for both dishes.....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the dry beef noodles. It’s quite decent, I love how they add the preserved veg so there’s an extra crunch and saltiness to the noodles. Also very generous with the ingredients but overall I feel that the ingredients are quite bland, sauce is quite average. But it’s quite a good find
