Druk Asia Bhutan Travel Specialist

This has been an amazing trip to Bhutan this October. The weather was beautiful, not too cold and not too hot. The itinerary was perfect for us, a good blend of hiking activities and leisurely visits to the monasteries. Our tour guide, Dee Dee was great, along with out driver, Dorji. Both were very kind and accommodating, they knew when we were tired and had us rest up back at the hotel. They both offered to stop at any point during the drive so that we could take pictures of the breathtaking background.The hotels were on another level of their own, nestled against the mountain, providing the best views from any room. Of course the highlight is the trek to Tiger's Nest. My mother couldn't make it to the very top but she was able to make it to the halfway point and rest while me and my sister hiked all the way to the top. The altitude took some time to get used to, but we took our time and took many breaks to acclimate. Bhutan is such a cultural country, with the Bhutanese having so much pride in their home and their willingness to share it with us. I want to thank Druk Asia for providing us with such a wonderful time there, definitely will recommend to other people who want to come here as well.

Great travel company to book yiur Bhutan trip. They made it very easy and responded very quickly. I booked the 3 star hotels category, and all the hotels were great, and the included meals were all great too. My guide spoke excellent English, and was very professional and friendly. They handled the flights too, and provided great information by email to make it easy. Bhutan is not a budget destination, but it is incredibly rewarding to go to an exotic and safe place. I can't wait to go back. This travel company made it easy.

My recent Bhutan adventure with Druk Asia was made even more unforgettable from the many serendipitous experiences when I was there (these, on top of a totally well-organised and partially customised trip - yes I could actually plan part of my itinerary, with the help of a very knowledgeable agent, of course..). I witnessed two full rainbows next to elusive Jomolhari; had an animated banter with a group of young monks; woke up to golden padi terraces during a cozy farm-house stay; talked philosophy with my guide as hypnotic chants from a mystical cliff-face monastery echoed through the hills; and gawked at the mighty Himalayas on my flight back. But it was definitely the soft-spoken Bhutanese - with their laid-back humour and warm hospitality - who left me with the most profound impression. Among many others, I was welcomed by my guide Kuenzang Tenzin, and driver Kelzang Chateo, both of whom were always chirpy, yet totally professional, knowledgeable, super punctual, and more than accommodating to my many requests to stop for photographs. They displayed great initiative on several occasions (I was most impressed!), so that I could take in a little extra, or settle in more comfortably, and this allowed me to get a more lasting peek into their country, culture, and lives during my visit. My friends on the trip had similarly exceptional experiences, so the professionalism we got all around deserves mention. In short, I cannot wait to go back - and maybe cut my hike time up Tiger's Nest by half next visit :) Tashi Delek!

We did the 7 Day Essential Bhutan Tour with Druk Asia from 3 - 9 Dec 2017. It was an enjoyable trip and we are pleased to have chosen Druk Asia. Kuzu Zangpola! I'm really sorry for late reply as we were busy with our wedding stuffs and thought I've written the review in early Sept. We enjoyed indeed while we were in Bhutan. Kinza and SoundBox (Driver) took care of us. I would like to thank both of them for their hospitality and kindness throughout the trip. About tearing part, Khin indeed was crying before took off. :D I've attached one of the best photo of us with Bhutan traditional attire. Bhutan was everything I imagined it to be… and so much more. Mesmerizing and Breathtaking seem such small words to describe the beauty of the land – almost dreamlike. Each time we stopped to gaze upon the postcard perfect views of lofty mountainscapes stand grandly amidst the clouds, we found ourselves catching our breaths and forgetting ourselves in the moment, while gazing at the grandeur of it all. Just.. incredible. As three city girls traveling together, we were most dependant on our ever accommodating and patient guide, Ugyen and driver Panda! They were such warm and engaging hosts, while gently pushing us (despite our moaning and groaning) to get our asses up the steep climb to the Taktsang Tigers Nest Monastery, which proved well worth the trek! Druk Asia’s team were simply marvellous in executing our requests to visit plantations and farms with locally grown produce, where mushrooms, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, apples and pears grow in abundance! The beauty of travelling with Druk Asia is in just how fantastically customised everything is! Thank you so much in organising our first visit to Bhutan, and allowing us to experience it in a way that was most engaging for us. I highly recommend them – they are absolutely the best at what they do, and passionate about promoting Bhutan so more people may experience the land for themselves!

11 days 10 nights in Bhutan has made our honeymoon the most unforgettable, breath-taking experience; most importantly, our hearts and souls are deeply touched by the people, culture, values, beliefs and eco systems of this Happiest Country in the world. We sincerely thank our DrukAsia guide Mr Sonam Tashi and driver Mr Tshewang Tashi for showing us the beautiful sights of Bhutan, both physically and spiritually. Thanks for allowing us to have a special connection with Bhutan on a deep level.
