★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Learnt alot about polishing shoes in the 2 hours with the business development director. He patiently explained why shoe creams is better than polishes for frequent use. and explained to me about how the polish caused the crack lines in my shoes because I applied too much.
The effect of their shoe cream on my Trickers looks great! Not to mention the very good service and excellent red wine!

I bought a new pair of expensive leather shoes a few months ago, and I wanted to invest in some quality products for my shoe. That is how I chanced upon Hackson and Sons, and met the owner Raymond. Raymond is an expert in leather and all you need to do is shoe him what leather you are dealing with and he will recommend you the rest. He is trust worthy and reliable and honest, and gives you good prices. Ever since the success with my shoes, he has dealt with my leather watch straps, wallets etc.
He is my go-to leather guy, knowledgeable, friendly and always optimistic. I highly encourage his services, and you should too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a recommendation from them about which cobbler to go to when the soles on my shoes dropped out. The staff even told the cobbler how it should be done and also applied a layer of WREN'S dubbin as my shoe's leather were drying out. I am going to try the VIBRAM soles the next time.
Had too many lousy cobblers with so-so skills and and a lousy attitude. So this was a really good change! Thumbs up and highly recommended.
