I took a trip down to Flash Coffee Citylink outlet this morning and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee and food prepared by the baristas working under such a young start-up! I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, accompanied by a warmed-up waffle for breakfast (I tried to come up with a better word to describe the waffles but nothing comes close to the word ‘amazing’). Not only was their food/drink of high quality, their customer service was exemplary as well. Each barista I met today was friendly to me and the other preceding customers waiting in line. They were also efficient in pushing out orders even though it was rush hour (I got my order within 5 minutes!) Will definitely go back to Flash Coffee for their essentials and excellent customer service. I also managed to learn the names of the three baristas in the short five minutes i was there as they were addressing each other by name; Herman, Helmi and Jess… apologies if i misspelt any!

The best barista goes to Jas! Look for her if you’re trying Flash Coffee for the first time. I fell in love with her macadamia latte + almond milk that she recommended. It really does taste heavenly if you got an exquisite taste! Flash coffee is the only coffee place that I would travel 30 mins down for a cup of coffee. Wanted to redeem a pain au chocolat from GPay on the way to something, but ended up as a long pit stop with needing to download the app. UX was bad because it took me so much time (thankfully with the staff’s help) e.g. drink needs to be regular, item needs to be in cart, etc. At the end of it all the milk tea ($3.50) I got had no taste of tea in it at all, tasted just like milk water. The staff were kind enough to replace it with another product, lychee tea, which honestly, also just tasted like lychee water. Kudos to the staff for being patient and accommodating but the products were just bad, especially for the price.

The staff working there w short hair is very friendly & pleasant. I got the Melaka latte iced. It’s quite nice but can’t taste the gula Melaka, it taste like regular iced latte.

Tried the Melaka Latte. Was good ☺️ Not sure if it can be considered "cheap". For sure cheaper than Starbucks, but you can only order takeout. The staff are friendly.

Coffee and tea was great!! Service was exceptional, the staff there were friendly and kind. A staff called Kay even recommended us which drinks we should get. Appreciate the hospitality. Would come back here to get drinks again! :)
