Golden Village Paya Lebar

Gold class so so. Can't fully recline the seat..would rather pay more to enjoy a real comfy seat. Also the fish and chips that come with the gold class movie is rather lousy. Other than that , a typical GV cinema.

Visit was okay. The place has many seats and classical music. Perfect atmosphere. My only complaint is the front counter staff (Indian lady) that handled my order. I took only a few seconds to decide choosing and she was already rolling her eyes. She was very frustrated when I ask about the timings available. Really got me upset. I was the only person in line. I can't imagine how she would behave if it was a rush hour. Other than that, when I went back to collect my popcorn and drinks, another staff was manning the cashier and he's very friendly.

Golden Village has always been great, less than satisfactory ever. However there was one slight issue I had with this one interaction. A friend and I had gone to watch The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, a spectacular film on its own. In that specific hall, the speakers were awful. Especially during the advertisement period. Furthermore, during the show there were numerous staff and third-party contractors who brought in devices inside the theatre and were conducting experiments of sorts. Which my friend and I were truly disturbed of. There were flashing lights and my friend who was afraid it was something else than an instrument started to panic. His attention was varied between the instrument and the film. Cinema staff need to realise that there might be audiences who have concerns regarding their safety, to avoid this. They need to be transparent with their customers regarding any tests/experiments that are being conducted on the halls. Other than this incident, the staff, food, experience was great as always.

Small but clean & comfy theatre halls. No lobby just the box office/f&b counters with a few tables & chairs for dining or waiting. There's also a row of massage chairs for some cheap quickie rub-down before your movie. Self-service ticket kiosks right outside.

Great movie experience, more streamline check in, purchase of tickets, pop corn and drinks. Eventhough the popcorn drink combo is more expensive then the one I had at Shaw nex, the popcorn was hot and great tasting. I wouldn't mind to pay a little mote for the movie concessions if the snacks tasted good... The seats are comfortable and i will be coming back again.

My first time cinema in GV paya laber . Vikram movie 2 day . Good sound effects easy way buy tickets via online and walk in GV ticket machine . First time cinema fullfil my all cinema expection .

went here last night to watch Spiderman. Great snacks and nice staff... Ok movie experience.... You can now eat again at the cinema. There is distancing for people who watch the movies.
