Kurobuta is good, must try! Oden is cheap at 12 dollars You can get quite decent portion Located at level 2, nice place to chill and drink Extremely friendly staffs!!

Surprisingly above average food and coupled with good drinks and vibes. We loved the yakitori grilled octopus ? and oden ? especially. The garlic fired rice was alright but wonderfully huge in portion for a Japanese restaurant. the beer orders was also attentive and fast. Will be back again soon, it’s been a great time! :)

A place to enjoy izakaya Japanese food with great sea view and breeze. Food is decent and good selection of alcohol, beer, sake and hard liquor. Staffs were attentive and welcoming.

Jun 2022. We needed an outlet to rant and we settled in this izakaya. We chose a cozy high table to enjoy the evening view and sake. We had meats and more meats. A special mention was Kagoshima Buta Teriyaki, just slightly salted, the raw grilled meat flavour was augmented to its fullest. It was perfectly paired with a Yoshikubo sake. Great night with great drinking friends.

First time visit! Me and some friends decided to unwind at this place after a casual Sunday evening walk at the Punggol coastline... We wanna have some sake and thus we have chosen this place... Glad we found this! We were sitting at the alfresco dining area, enjoying the sun-set, leading us into a mid-summer's night... LOL But all's well because the food was great!! They also have very friendly and helpful staff who are attentive and always provide prompt service! One thing I have to say - the SASHIMI!! One of the thickest slices I've seen!!! Fresh and Juicy!! Yumms to the max!! Then, however, the seafood set was a bit of a 'let-down' as it looked really different from the menu... Though, the taste was still good but the plate (and ingredients) seems to have 'shrinked'... If you know what I mean. Oh, not forgetting the Grilled Squid! It's huge and soft, totally grilled to perfection without any dryness... Oh, how lovely! We had a Sakura Sake - a bottle of 720ml for SGD88. It's a limited promotion for the 'Spring Season' only. (Hmm, I thought we already entered 'Summer'... LOL) No matter. The taste is still good - refreshing, light with a hint of sweetness. Will definite go again!! Especially for the SASHIMI!!!

Food is nice, I'd say the taste is pretty close to what you get in a typical izakaya in Tokyo. However i find the portion too small for the price. Staffs are very friendly too. I'm not exactly a small eater, but to have a dinner for 2 pax that cost almost SGD $300, I'd say not a place I'd visit frequently.

Vibe and feel is great. Staff are really friendly and food is generally good. Loved the garlic rice especially, didn't manage to take a pic as it was the first to serve and I gobbled it up in no time. Beer is cheap IMO - $26 for a jug, skewers' price is on the high side though. Nice place to chill nonetheless.

Nice place and good food to laze during a weekend afternoon overlooking the sea. Staff is quite helpful. Decently priced booze as well. They have Happy hour ☺️ Make a reservation on weekends as can be crowded
