β β β β β Definitely not worth the price for a simple toast to be done so lousy. It was soft n cold despite being done on-the-spot upon ordering. I expected it to be hot n crispy. Can't even prepare simple toast. Sighs.

β β β β β I visited the branch at NUH medical centre for takeaway chee cheong fun and chee kueh. Firstly, the staff placed the utensils beneath the styrofoam box in a plastic bag, causing the styrofoam box to tilt to one side and the sauce leaked out. The staff just seemd unprofessional in the way she organised the food for takeaway. Secondly, when I open the styrofoam box, my food is SOAKED IN OIL!!! I am not particularly a very health conscious person but the amount of oil the staff added was ridiculous. Thirdly, the pickles on top of the chee kueh is 50% char black! It's ironic that such a poor health conscious food outlet is opened near a hospital and in terms of food taste wise, I have to say that the presentation and service have made me biased against the taste of the food. β β β β β The worst food I have ever eaten outside of 1990's Africa. I hadn't eaten for 12 hours and ordered their chicken curry. It wasn't a curry, just a,much if soggy inspired something that tasted so disgusting that after eating the potato and a few bits of chicken, I only ate the plain rice. AVOID

β β β β β Grab pay help me settle the bill, when i am short of cash in the wallet. Kaffe & Toast accepts contactless payment, convenient.
It also offer discount with pre-loaded value, as a regular visitor.
It has however long queue during lunch hours in the weekdays. They serve working staff, patients and visitors. The space is limited but most of the visitors bought the packed lunch. There is always some little space available while waiting for visiting hours to the patients.

β β β β β Tried the laksa before and returning for mee rebus and mee siam. The laksa is still preferred; like the thick sauce.
Today saw 2 non-uniformed persons inside the drinks preparation area and chit chatting with one of the staff. They were hovering over a pile of prepared in advance drinks :(
