Lai Medical Clinic - 213 Bukit Batok Street 21

The receptionists there are absolutely racist and condencending. They have no care about a patient's welfare and I have witnessed them belittle numerous patients. Avoid this place at all costs. The doctor is a nice person but the overall quality of service is atrocious and only the receptionists are to be blamed.

I visited this clinic only to get the referral letter and also i called beforehand. Once i reached there i told receptionist that my only reason to come here is to get a referral letter since i had severe back pain n can't walk much hence need to consult with a Physiotherapist. Still the doctor played very smart and told me to tell her everything in detail and started noted down everything. Later she told i cant refer you to Physiotherapist cos if he do something wrong to you, you will blame me. Only thing she has to do is to give a referral mentioning its a physical pain. But finally if she cant help she can still tell me sorry i cant help but instead she asked me the consultation charge saying that i enguaged her for some time hence need to pay. This is really tricky. Doc should not be looter. Very disappointed with Doc behaviour on asking money whitnout any kind of benefit given to patient. :)

I went on a Saturday around 11am. Did not have to wait for too long before being attended to by the doctor. Staff there was polite and so was Dr Lai! She's very warm, friendly and professional. Dispenses the right medication and it was not too pricey as well.

Dr Lai is a very good, very warm and very caring doctor. She really talks to her patients for them to feel safe and secured and does her job passionately . God bless Dr Lai :)

Dr. Lai has always been so courteous and helpful and even gives follow up calls the next day to check if her patients are ok. She is meticulous in checking how well we are as patients. I regret to say her service staff have made me feel discriminated (speaking about me in mandarin infront of each other) and have been rude to me on several occasions questioning me on things in a tone a patient does not deserve. I wished she had staff like her that would give the clinic the appeal it deserves with the service she provides for her patients.

Dr Lai very experience and detail person. The nurses are helpful too. I had a fall and one of the nurses helped me walk to the doctor's room. Indeed 5 stars!

I was finding a doctor to go to, came across this clinic and saw that the reviews were great. Hence, I decided to give it a try. The doctor’s really friendly and personable. She takes the time to talk to you, unlike some doctors who just give you a quick diagnosis. Then I recommended her to my mum, and mum I switched clinic to this one.
