If you need a short to medium term rental to lay your head, LYF is the place to go. Besides having a big community kitchen, laundry mat and bicycle parking lots, every floor has its own communal fridge, microwave and hot, cold water dispenser. Access from the elevator to your rooms is by card activation. It’s opposite one north MRT and it is walking distance to MOE, One North Biopolis, and directly opposite ACJC. A stone’s throw away from Buona Vista MRT and Star Vista Mall. The place is newly open and I like the simplicity of the design.

Room was small, just enuff for one. Big glass window helped me to adjust to it. Tranquil area to be in, with big beautiful buildings. Single room was just right for a solo biz traveller. Has a communal laundry snd kitchen area. A diy starbucks kiosk in lobby area dat supplies food and drinks too. Swimming pool was 1.2m with 4 lanes?. Lots of cafe and restaurants in the area buildings. Cannot believe Singapore has such beautiful hidden spaces.

I stayed here from 10-12 May 2022 in Room 512. I've stayed here at least 2 times before in 2022 and had great experiences (clean functional rooms and great reception service), hence my 3rd stay here. Room 512 was the last room of the corridor and was quiet, save for a guest who slammed the door so loudly I jumped each time. The room window faced a very quiet street too. This time however, my stay was marred my some issues which I hope the management can resolve for future stays. 1. Aircon auto reset/off: In my previous stays, I'd stayed on the 7th and 4th floor and had no issues with the aircon but this time, the aircon in my room keep automatically resetting to 23 degrees. I didn't notice the auto reset until the 2nd day when I stayed in and realised that even after setting the aircon to 25 degrees, it would suddenly get colder after awhile and when I checked the thermostat, it was 23 degrees! This happened again and again while I was inside my room. On my last night, I woke up suddenly feeling warm and realised the aircon had turned off- I'd gone to bed with the aircon on... 2. On the 2nd day, I returned to my room after lunch to find a worm/ millipede on the floor near my bed (see photos). It could not have come from my lunch trip as I saw it inside my room the moment I opened the door. I'm not sure how it got in (main door or toilet drain?) But it was really gross. I'm glad I didn't put my bag on the floor and that I'd asked for bedroom slippers to wear.  Imagine stepping on the bug barefoot.. 3. Flooded shower: On my last night, the shower floor flooded badly and took a long time to drain while I was showering. I was washing shampoo off when I realised I was standing in a deep puddle of water that didn't subside until quite awhile later. Thankfully it didn't flood into the room... If the hotel's reply is to suggest i inform reception during my stay, my reply would be that these things didn't happen immediately after check in. If they did, I would've informed reception to change rooms/ fix shower. But they happened only on the 2nd day and last night- by then I was tired of packing/unpacking to change rooms and not ok to have a stranger enter my room to fix the shower when it was late. It would be way better to have an unclogged shower, working aircon and pest free room to begin with. My room was also abit dusty and had some brown floor stains near the bin. On check out, I highlighted my issues to reception and they apologised and said they'll look into them. Another thing I noticed from my 3 stays- the trash bins on each floor tend to get full very fast in the day. It'd be good for the hotel to check often and empty the full bins to prevent spread of diseases and pests.

Had such an amazing stay! Was really sad to leave as we only stayed for a night cause we wanted to try it out first. The service was amazing from all of the staffs and we felt very welcomed and very at home. Cleanliness is top notch and the entire place looks Instagram-worthy and they even have stickers on certain areas that tells you there’s a photo op. It’s just right in front of one-north MRT exit B, which we think is a definite plus point and there’s also a Getgo rental available at the place as well. No fridge in the room, but it’s fine cause there are mini fridges on each level and big refrigerators on level 2 and all you have to do is label your items with your room number. There’s also a shared kitchen & pool on level 2. There is also some snacks + ready to eat food that you will need to microwave available at level 1 for purchase and also a Starbucks machine that has quite a few drinks options. Not forgetting the water pressure of the shower head + rain shower is amazing as well and there’s also a bidet!!! Hands down one of the best hotels ever, really felt as though we were out of Singapore for a bit. Will definitely stay again!

Rooms were cozy and perfect for a solo workcation. Keep in mind that this is more of a co-living space rather than a hotel. A newly opened property (official opening was 11 April 22) so some facilities and benefits may not be available yet. Give this place a few months to find its footing in the meantime.

rooms are small but comfortable, shower pressure is amazing and love the amenities — shared kitchen, pool and gym are all very well equipped. the area of one north is quiet and slightly out of the way, but it’s nicely located next to the mrt station and with supermarket just a few minutes away. staff were also very friendly, i recommend it!

Newly-opened hotel in the peaceful one-north neighbourhood. Facilities like the pool are still work-in-progress so I guess that's the reason for the attractive room rates offered during this "soft-launch" period. Service staffs are cheerful and very willing to serve. They seemed to enjoy their work in lyf. I loved the powerful rainshower in my room and everything seemed really clean and beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and hope to be back again in future when the property is fully opened. Well done.
