β β β β β Soba salad was not bad, but nothing to write home about. Can't really put my finger on it, but something inside felt very oily. Probably the sauce. I got the sesame dressing. I wish the portion size for avocados were bigger. Also I felt that the ordering system was unsanitary, had to use shared pencils. Wonder how many people have touched it before me.

β β β β β Portion has been getting smaller in face of rising consumer costs. Hence the best deal is to choose their smoked salmon which sometimes come with varying portions due to the food preparers.

β β β β β Ordered the Tom Yum maki, salad and some tempura today. All in all, a great meal! Pleasantly surprised that the salad was done right - no wet, soggy leaves and reasonably portioned with sauce on the side. The pretty packaging also makes for a good gift to love ones during this circuit breaker period.

β β β β β made a trip to makisan compass point to order today, and was given a ridiculous portion of asparagus LIKE 7 STRANDS. asked about the portion and if they could / should give more in the store but the staff totally ignore me without asking me further, and just made sure all my sides were 'complete' and handed over to me. i don't think this is acceptable?
apart from that, thanks for still working n serving us food, but can be improved.

β β β β β expensive. price increases by $1 but the servings is still as pathetic. visited this outlet several times because I genuinely like the sushi, but I am really questioning myself if I should continue to patronise with the expensive pricing for such small portions.

β β β β β I used to love their maki recently ordered from panda and Deliveroo . Regardless of spicy Mayo or wasabi dressing . I never taste the dressing. Last order i ripe open and take a look .. never see any dressing . If you only put a drop then dun bother to give that option. $13 for a roll of Makan you cannot afford to included a decent amount of dressing ? I will look for a second maki shop to order .

β β β β β Really loved it! Had it delivered, but my tempura was still crispy! The roll was good too, though there were only a few strips of beef, i could still taste it and the other components i picked matched really well. ?
