★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing how they mix and match whatever you choose and make it taste good. They will probably add peanut on every dish they fried. They will ask you the level of spicyness you like for your Mala dish. I enjoy few slices of pork, red paprika, meat balls, bean sprout and broccoli for my dishes in Ma la Hot pot. You may choose and they will weight and charge you accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One word, Dishonest, that’s how they run their business at S11 coffee shop. You may take 1kg food to weight, what you get is less than 1kg. Is obvious as you may order food like tomato and part of it is gone. Is that necessarily doing such, why don’t increase the price if they want to get more profit instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not honest.
The menu is showing Boiled Meat Slice 水煮肉 at $7 and Boiled Fish slice 水煮鱼at $9.
However when I ordered Boiled beef slice 水煮牛肉 (which is not in the menu), that guy charge me $15!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a big fan of mala Xiang Guo and I find this stall offers the best and unique mala taste in SG instead of the generic mala offered by most other mala Xiang Guo that I’ve tried, they really use the raw herb and peppers to cook instead of some generic mala sauce used by most other stalls. The staff there are also very polite and friendly. A must try for mala lovers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have be eating mala from this stall occasionally for many years. 中辣少嘛 is my go-to and the standard is always there.
But, for coffeeshop it is considered expensive as I always tell my friends that they always weigh the plate together with the food, and with that old school analog weighing scale + calculator combo, it will always give u a $uprise when the price is revealed. Good luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came early for a doctor's review at 8.00am, One doctor clinic. Needed a Kopi Kai Tai for my morning kick, saw this traditional Teochew noodle stall that's open only. The lady who serve me is a Vietnamese by the name of Tru.
Ordered the mee kia budget set at SDG4.50.
Taste ok for those who likes the chilly with fried prawn smell in the noodles.
I prefer the chilly that goes to the noodles without the fried prawn smell.
Ended up loving the fish ball soup better.
This stall has a Signature dish, Dried Mee Sua at SGD6.30, though I haven't try that yet.
It's promoting additional noodles at no extra charges for those big eaters but at SGD1 for 2pcs fishball, meatball, meat, 2 sliced abalone.
I noticed the Chao Yuen sign board, pictured a guy serving noodles wearing a some kind of cowboy style hat. I think it doesn't quite fit in, he should be a Hokkien guy, literally speaking, only the Hokkien wear that style of hat, not the Teochew.
The ambient is quiet at this time with plenty of seats available. This noodle stall and the Kopi counter are the only one open 24hrs, confirmed and double confirmed.
