Stumbled into this Korean shop and read that it's quite authentic. I really like their side dishes. So much that I asked for more. Had the stew which was really very yummy. Rice was so hard and uncooked though which made the food experience a little disappointing. Also tried their cold noodle. It was yummy, that I must say, but it was way to spicy. I didn't expect the spiciness to be so spicy that tears rolled down my eyes while eating. Couldn't stop blowing my nose too.

Went on a Tues 1145am and had to wait abt 20min before can be seated. Can see that this korean place has its regular customer as its rather reasonably priced with bigger portion(each dishes can be shared by 2 average eaters)than most korean restaurants in sg. They do have exterior seating which are better ventilated and less smoky than its main seating as we found it atad smoky and irritated to the eyes towards end of meal. Nevertheless for the food fare wise can taste the recipe was authentically prep by Koreans. Jjampong was slurpy and spicy with seafood, the spicy red sauced pork belly w squids was flavourful as well. The huge slab of pork tonkatsu tasted great except the sauce was atad too sweet for adults liking, a kid perhaps will have enjoyed more. Only downside we would comment would be its ill ventilated at the main dining store and the white rice was nt pearl rice hence nt moist enough.

Had the Jjajang Noodles and Jampong Seafood Noodles. Thoroughly enjoyed both bowls of noodles. The Jampong broth was just the right of amount of savory and spicy (a little hot for me). The omelette in the complimentary side dish was good too! Looking forward to visiting the shop again!

It’s economic value meal and they only provide free tea drink if you order a la carte. We went in late lunch and the food may have been out too long that some of the family member had diarrhea.

Packed quite a bit of crowd during weekend dinner. Ordered seafood pancake, zha jiang mian and spicy seafood toufu soup. Seafood pancake serving size was huge but it’s portion of flour was too much, too little leek and seafood. I would rather they reduce the size. Zha jiang mian was flavorful but could have a bit more ingredients. Best dish was seafood toufu, generous ingredients, toufu was gd and soup base was really good.

Taken away some food but couldn’t finish the food as it was that bad. Everything was extremely salty. Stews were essentially MSG soup with token few pieces of beef. Pancake was doughy. Kimbap was ok, but wife had diarrhoea right after (I hope it’s unrelated). Overall, don’t bother spending your money here. Very disappointed as I rmb enjoying meals here a couple of times a few years back.

Reasonably priced Korean place with generous portions! The place looks a bit dated but has that original old school charm and worth the visit. Think this place has been around for the longest time and have visited occasionally. Overall good authentic homely Korean food.
