Nice chicken but preferred the roasted one always. Price is ok. But super noisy and almost impossible to talk properly when crowded. Nothing can be done due to the way the place is done up. It's bounces the voices all around. But still overall a nice place. And decent service.

Fantastic service. I called the day before to place an order for next day pick up. When I arrived, the lady greeted me and asked me to check my order to double confirm and subsequently make payment. I sat down for 5 mins and my order came to me. Lady kindly told me to check to make sure I received the right items. Consumed the food about 25 mins later and it was still delicious (can't compare to eating it there though). Gobbled it all down so fast that I only managed to take a photo of the omelette. Will definitely come back here!

Yummy! Was pleasantly surprised with the low crowd level for this quaint little restaurant tucked away in the corner of Chun Tin Road. Lovely menu with good distinctions on how you like your chicken to be done: fried, yang myeom, roasted or crunchy. Comes in palatable sizes too! Reasonable pricing. Parking can be a deterrence but again the Downtown Line Beauty World stop is at the front door!

mixed fried chicken (think was $19++) were crispy and good! mix of some chicken wings/drumsticks/boneless ones. army stew was pricer at around $40++ and could have given more noodles. came on a weekday and there wasnt a queue :)

Heavenly. The tenderness of the chicken meat and presentation is superb. Generous portion and half a chicken per dish is more than ample for 3 persons.

Continuing on the plan of no meals at places with Festive CNY menu, the plan today had dinner at Oven & Fried over at Bukit Timah, just across the road from Beauty World. Arriving just before the main dinner mealtime (6pm onwards), a table was quickly secured and the order was put in quickly too. After the order for the meal was made, a plate of crackers was provided. Consumed by itself or with the provided chili sauces, it was a great opening appetiser. The restaurant's menu claims that the recipe used here is the same as that used in Korea given that it is prepared by the same factory, hence the chicken tastes the same in Singapore as in South Korea. Like most chicken places in Singapore, this restaurant too separated the drumlet from the mid-wing of the chicken wing and then claim them as 2 separate pieces. The mains soon arrived. The normal Fried Chicken (half serving) arrived with 10 pieces but in actual fact was only 5 chicken wings. The batter on the chicken was tasty and crispy with a nice fragrance. The meat within was juicy and yummy. The second main was the Yang Nyeom Chicken (half serving), with the same pieces breakdown as the Fried Chicken. Coated with a sweet & spicy seasoning, it was yummy, juicy meat, and enjoyable. It is a little messy while consuming this dish, so it will be good to eat with plastic gloves; otherwise, a visit to the washroom to wash one's hands later is required Ended the meal with a Pa Jeon (Seafood Green Onion pancake). The pancake was filled with prawns, squids and onions that gave each bite a tantalising thrill and flavour burst. No wonder this dish is considered a Best Seller here. Throughout the meal, a pint of Hoegaarden was ordered to help wash things down. It was definitely a great pairing with the Fried Chicken ordered and refreshing. Never knew this Korean fried chicken place existed here until now, despite staying in the vicinity for the longest time now. That said, they're right by Beauty World MRT station, and there's a large carpark right by the restaurant. We really loved the Pa Jeon. Crispy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. Together with the seafood, and the dipping sauce, pretty amazing. The crunch original and crunch yang nyeom are both really good, for different reasons. Get a half-half if you'd like to try them. Both chicken dishes were juicy and soft on the inside, with a lovely texture on the outside. Service is quick, despite them setting expectations to be longer, to be safe. Prices are a little on the high side for a neighborhood restaurant, but reasonable if you compare them to generic restaurants. Paid 120 for our family of 5 adults. 2 servings of chicken, fried pancake, and a soup. One issue though, is how I came out of the restaurant smelling like fried chicken...

The pickled radish was good, sweet and sour. The Korean fried chicken was decent, some parts were tender and crispy. The meat was not marinated. Seafood pancake is a no-go. Shrimps were small and feels frozen, the pancake was was half crispy, half pasty as shown in the close up photo
