I was wondering in Changi City Point and was shocked to find Paper Rice here. As it was lunchtime, I ordered their Pho as always. The pho is always served so fresh, and the warm broth is lovely. I never had terrible experiences every time I came to paper rice.

The service was very good. We had to write down item numbers on the order chit and my husband wrote cursively so our A01 ended up looking like A07. They served us A07 and kindly replaced it after realizing that it was a misreading of our cursive handwriting. We greatly appreciate it. Food wise, fish was great- fried to perfection with crispy skin and tender meat. Pho was ok. Steamed vegetables were big in portion. Would visit again!

Dined here because eatigo had 50% here at 4pm. It was lun-ner for me. The dude that served me was dead on the inside as he mumbled super disinterestedly about everything. Life's hard. I know, so ain't gonna fault the restaurant for it. The interior was really chill & felt like Bali, Indonesia kinda East-Asia vibe with all the wooden & bamboo-ish designs. FOOD WAS AMAZING. Had their grilled meat platter and grilled pork vermicelli. The meats were SUPER FRAGRANT & tasty. Every bite was just heaven. The chicken skewers had this lemongrass-tumeric kinda taste and I totally love the grilled pork - thinly sliced & beautifully seasoned. The sauce for the vermicelli wasn't too sweet or sour (as with most Vietnamese restaurants). Their spring rolls were really good too! Crispy on the outside with a good amount of meats & shrimps + the turnips & other veges on the inside. Their coffee was SUPER STRONG & SMOOTH! Love their egg white froth on top which is the "creamer" to the coffee. Either I had no expectations of this place or this place food is really good. I'd think it's the latter. Wouldn't mind dining here again ????

High quality Vietnamese food at Changi city Point. The Vietnamese coffee is smooth, the pho is nicely prepared, the surprising one is the barbecue meat platter. The environment is nice as well.

When I dine out, I’ve always look for authenticity in Asian cuisine, been here 3 times in past years, not as good as other Vietnamese restaurants, sorry The Pho soup was not piping hot though, food quality passable, we ordered the spring roll platter to share $19.90, Pho bo (sliced beef pho with soup) 13.90, Bun thit Nuong (fresh vermicelli with grilled pork) $11.90. Will I return ? Yes, I will always support F&B.

great experience, food is tasty, flavourful, well-balanced. ordered 3 out of the top 5 recommended dishes (pork rice vermicelli, beef pho & chicken+rice wrap), very satisfied with all 3. drinks not necessary as water was served in large glasses

Very good authentic Vietnamese food. The deep fried seabass ($24) is a must try. It would make a good main but the restaurant only gives 2 lettuce leaves and 4 rice papers. It’s inadequate to roll enough rolls but it’s fine if you only want to eat fish. The sea snail is quite good too! It’s a classic supper food in HCMC. The version at the restaurant is healthier with less salt and oil. But still delicious. Ordered two bowls of chicken and beef soup (soup only) and there was no MSG used. The flavour was clean and gives me the impression that the central kitchen had carefully skimmed the soup as it was boiling to prevent the proteins from clouding the stock. The soups were nourishing and worth ordering as a side. Spring rolls could use more vegetables and herbs and be served with the Nuoc Cham (lime chilli garlic sauce) Overall, this place is under-rated as a Vietnamese restaurant. Hidden gem.

This is a perfect place if you want a high standard meal+service that doesn't break your piggy bank. Having been to different Vietnamese restaurants in Singapore, I am very impressed with Paper Rice for: 1) great and authentic food and coffee. There are various variations of the same dish even in Vietnam, but imo this place has struck the right balance between retaining the authenticity of flavours and adaptation to international diners' palette. 2) extremely good presentation of food, including how dishes are served. There is no dump-all-in or put-the-lime-on-the-spoon. It is simply professional. Vietnamese food must be enjoyable in both visual effect and taste. 3) an ambience that is well decorated with authentic Vietnamese artifacts, stylish with a traditional touch. 4) the price point was just at market rate. For the level of standard provided, it is very much value-for-money. I think this as a suitable place to entertain business partners or go on a date. You can also buy the porcelain plates and other crockery from the restaurant.
