the shop staff kindly came over to my location to pass me the cake. Awesome service :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This happened on the 10 January 2022, Have received a very lousy service at the ICON branch @ Gopeng street. The young sales girl was totally not interested in serving the customer. I have given her a courtesy greet and she pretends that never see me and continue using her laptop. Greeted her 2nd time, then came to the counter unwillingly. When i tried to place a order for a birthday cake, she asked me to order the cake online instead of ordering the cake from her. If this young lady is so lazy, she should just stay at home. GLACE Cake shop is not the only one that sells Cakes in Singapore. We can always seek other alternatives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the icon village glacé today at 2pm and sales person was entertaining an enquiry for cake the whole time leaving me standing there to wait for her to never finish with the customer. She is poor in her customer service as she could have told customer on the phone to call her back shortly as she has a customer in front of her to attend. I was with my 5 yr old and I had another 2 year old waiting for me in the car. Was intending to try many flavors of cakes but had to leave cos or NO service was rendered to me for the 10 minutes I stood waiting for her call to NEVER finish and even after I prompted that I could not wait, sales girl was not astute/ firm enough to end conversation on the phone with potential customer. Way to lose business this way! May as well put an ‘out to toilet’ sign.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made an order for a strawberry soufflé at Icon Village but got the date wrong. The young lady who attended to me turned out to the the pastry chef. She was an absolute life-saver, offering to pipe the birthday greeting on my cake and being so flexible to let me collect my cake on the wrong date. I am so blessed that there was a strawberry soufflé available still. But I commend the service rendered and the freshness of the cake. Definitely better than the other Japanese cake shop selling similar cakes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Miss Japan so much since border closed. Have finally found such an authentic Japanese pastries shop for a birthday occasion. Non of my people not praise. No artificial or preservative. The cream is light and yummy. I never want strawberries in SG but this one just too amazing.
