β β β β β Reasonable prices. Bubble tea tastes very much like Chendol. Other drinks mimic local desserts. Very popular among students. Can arrange great deals for fun fairs and small functions.

β β β β β Not your average drink stall. A couple owns the place and they are nice folks - passionate when it comes to making drinks and interacting with their customers. Their concoctions are superb and you'll really feel at home when you're there. It might be a tad pricey, but what isn't these days? And lastly, they also offer bulk orders.

β β β β β Dont be fooled by the appearance of the shop. The ice is very soft and u need to mix well with the gula melaka at the bottom. Its incredibly good and will be one of my favourite place for chendols.

β β β β β Penang A1 Chendol at Block 822 Tampines Street 81. Finally had the chance to try this Durian smoothie near church. Ordered a big one at $5 as the M size is only $0.50 cheaper. The place is not near to MRT so may be a small hassle.
There are two small tables and the business mainly caters to take aways. The boss is friendly and chatty, telling every customer not to regret if not ordering the big one.
The good thing is that the real durian bits are generous, blended with creamy icy milkshake. The durian bits sink to the bottom so have to push the straw all the way in to pick them up.
Overall taste is good and frosty. Felt the milk taste a little too dominant. Would love the durian taste to be stronger (donβt mind paying for better grade Durian).

β β β β β Very friendly shop owners. The Penang chendol was nice but quite sweet, next time I should ask them to reduce the gula melaka sauce. The durian smoothie was surprised very good! Generous amount of durian in the smoothie and the milk was very smooth. Highly recommend it! $4.50 for regular size and $5 for a large cup.
