Police Licensing & Regulatory Department - 391 New Bridge Rd

whats the hell happening here, if this is called licencing department which people look high upon, just because its called licencing, but they had a bad service, phone call enquiry a bad, really bad, worse. they should have the best service as it is a well respectful department and they should expect people calling in and asking, but too bad its the same as calling another plumber for a service.

One of the worst organisations in the entire Singapore civil service. Totally not civil at all. Painful to deal with and totally no regards to human life or business.

They don't bother to reply to email for enquiry and help. No one answer phone calls. Collecting licensing money but giving zero service. Might as well shut down the email and hotline. What a waste of taxpayer's money to fund this useless department.

I'm a resident of a mcst property the building security is alert & vigilant,i give due respect to them as they protect my premises with all their heart but there was one incident when a cab driver got into a arguement with one of the security officers as the officer was doing a screening of the vehicle @ around 2200hrs but the driver became agressive,the supervisor stopped the driver & warned the driver that he will call for police assistance but he was not scared the police was called & 3 officers from bukit timah police centre arrived & instead of diffusing the situation they were very harsh with the security team.they even call their team leader for assistance.they treated the security like criminals.i was disappointed the way the police treated the security with no professionlism.the police was showing authority on them especially to the supervisor.what kind of attitude the police was showing.i thought the police is taught not to embrass anybody.the police represents the image & reputation of the country but their behavior was unacceptable.very babaric.security officers are earning a honest living but why there must be looked down upon by everyone especially the police.i'm saddened by the incident.i never resepected the police til today because of the incident as stated.singapore is a reputable & first world country but this incident will only bring us down infront of tourists & foreigners.

T"you for calling Police Licensing and Regulatory Department. Our operating hours are from 830am to 530pm, Monday to Friday." I called in at 850am on Wednesday and get this message on their IVR.. Sucks!! Is this department even in Singapore????

I waited for almost 7 mins n still nobody pick up my call ! I wanted to know how long your dept take to clear our notifications? I did 1 assignment on last friday n the Agency cleared me on Saturday. Till now my notification has not been clear ! How can we find a job when your dept take your sweet time ! Mr Ooi - 91511961.

This review is for the month of July 2021. Surprisingly PLRD did call me back after i have left them a voice mail ! And my question has been answer clearly. Thanks to the Lady officer. Well it looks like PLRD has improved on their customer service. Hope it will maintain the good work. Thank you once again PLRD officers.
