We went in with high expectations and definitely left as happy customers. The bill came up to $600++ for 2 pax as we had the Wagyu supplement for the main course. As locals, we were definitely intrigued and delighted by all the creative and elevated twists on all our homegrown favourites. However, not every dish was a hit. For instance, I felt that for the price point charged, the golden pomfret was not value for money at all. Perhaps usage of Chinese pomfret would be more ideal as the fish meat was quite rough. The Hainanese curry course was also just so-so. The rojak wasn’t a personal favourite as the flavour of the raw flowers was simply too overpowering. However, we absolutely loved everything else, especially the crispy stuff chicken wing which was absolutely sublime. The char kway teow was also delicious and flavourful. Staff was also friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a hiccup during the main course where the plastic table mats paired with the course came with an extremely foul smell - like those wet rags that weren’t dried properly. However, they changed it immediately for us upon the feedback, and new pieces came with very strong mama lemon smell… haha. But was definitely not expecting this at such a restaurant. All in all, we had a good time, but this is more of an one-time experience. Not much merits in returning unless there’s an entire menu revamp.

Singaporeans have high standards for local food. This makes it all the more challenging to create dishes that satisfies each person’s memory of their favourite food, while reimagining it to create something new. Our favourites were the truffle prata, curry bomba rice, shashlik, and steak. The price tag is well worth the effort that goes into each dish.

Went in Dec 2021. Menu changes depending on what they source from local suppliers. Restaurant tries to use as much local produce as possible. The play on local food is great for us who have grown up here and know what the flavor profile is like. For those without that it’s still a very decent and well prepared meal. Expect dinner to lay around 3 hours and there is more than enough food to fill you up. Staffs’ great too. Was a lovely evening.

We came here when they had their Chinese New Year menu. The first dish you have is their version of chili crab which comes with mini mantou. I do wish the size was just a little bigger because it was really tiny. It be nice to have a bigger bite. Overall, the menu was unique with a touch of Chinese New Year dishes. I would love to come back when they serve their regular menu.

A few standout courses, but generally a good all round meal with great Southeast Asian flavors. Highlights were the pre-dinner snacks; and no shortage of food through the whole meal. Very worth a visit, especially for non Southeast Asian residents.

My husband and I paid our first visit to Restaurant Labyrinth which was made especially memorable and special, kudos to the staff (thank you Priscillia!) who arranged a special dessert announcement for the husband on short notice. They even customised the menu to accommodate my dietary restrictions without compromising on the taste. The food was uniquely Singaporean with a twist and the flavours are adequately brought out without losing the original flavour. Will definitely return.

Honestly, the idea of elevated hawker food sounds terrible on paper. However, the dishes on Labyrinth's tasting menu all bring something new and interesting to the conversation. It also helps that they are delicious, some of them delightfully so. It's a rare dish that makes me chuckle, and this meal had several. It's worth noting that service was also excellent, further enhancing a unique experience.

Uncle had a delightful lunch in the dark dark labyrinth. A very creative atas twist was given to uncle's favourite local hawker dishes here. Kudos to the brilliant chef and his team for their efforts to redefine hawker food and showcase local produce. Service was great too as the staff happily entertained the musings of uncle. Definitely come here if you want to soar to gastronomic stratosphere!
