Nice small restaurant that serve a variety of katsu dishes and tonkatsu sandwich. The price and the portion is reasonable. The tonkatsu sandwich use white bread folded over pork katsu. The pork katsu is tasty and crispy but the bread is kind of soggy. The pork and shrimp katsu is yummy with steam rice and thinly sliced cabbage. It comes with tonkatsu sauce & mustard, and delicious dressing for the cabbage. The lady staff is friendly and help explain the menu.

Very authentic and nice Japanese tonkatsu restaurant inside Millenia walk. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food taste great! Tonkatsu is nicely fried and not oily. Love their salad and Japanese curry sauce. The staff was very kind to refill my curry sauce too! Service is fast.

Romankan Yokohama is a Japanese tonkatsu restaurant that has moved from the basement food court at B2. They have now moved to Millenia walk, and have a dedicated space. I am a fan of their tonkatsu and curry, and their prices are reasonable for the food that is offered. Their tonkatsu is tender and meaty, without being overtly oily, and pairs well with their curry sauce, which tastes different from the typical Japanese curry sauces from other restaurants. Its thick and has slivers of meat in their sauce, and is not spicy/salty, and is a good accompaniment to the meat. Their set comes with salad (with a ponzu/soy sauce) and a side of vegetables and some potato wedges and Japanese pickles.

We were pleasantly impressed by the quality of the food served. Ordered the curry tonkatsu which was really crispy on the outside yet soft and juicy inside. It was a delightful meal and the food surpassed our expectations. I really liked the curry which was slightly on the thick side which complented the pork cutlet and rice very well. The ambience of the place was cosy which enhanced the dining experience. Really enjoyed our meal and will come back again.

This outlet that specialises in Japanese battered cuisine seems unnoticed for most times. I ordered a pork katsu set and was very pleased with everything. 1. The outlet was very clean as usual Japanese standards. 2. Food portion is very decent with no service charge and extra add on GST. 3. Lady server told me about the wasabi im the salad sauce and to watch out for it. This dressing tasted very unique and delicious. 4. A cup of water was served. 5. A big serving of julienned cabbage and good portion of vege. 6. Pork katsu was not oily nor fatty! 7. Generous cut of lemon which was definitely a highlight of my meal. I will be back.

Decent restaurant for a quick meal. I would like to say Saboten has better quality tonkatsu but I think that’s down to my personal taste. Service here is friendly and food is well prepared and looks exactly like what’s on the menu!

Impeccable service and delightful food. If you are someone who love a strong flavor, you will enjoy the curry katsu rice. The curry is good. I like their service too. They are always walking around to ensure their customers are attended to.
