Charcoal Korean BBQ located in Tampines. Price is abit steep, we spent around $160+ for 4 pax as we might have ordered too much food. I had the cold noodles and the portion was quite generous. The pancake was quite good as well but we think that it is not crispy enough. Overall good experience, but will not recommend the skewers as it is difficult to cook them without it being burnt easily.

I have never heard of this place before and was suggested by a friend. I was told this shop is pretty popular in Korea? But I could see the place was quite crowded a while after we started eating and there was a long queue outside. Ordered the Ultimate mix set, they served the side dishes which I thought was not bad, but looking at the menu there were more items and we were only served 4. Everything else on the online menu was sold out so I assumed it is by default the 4 side dishes. The meats arrived and I couldn't really catch what the staff was trying to tell me initially, later understood that I had to cook the lean meats with the netting first then they would replace with the solid plate for the fatty meats. The meats were quite nice but kinda weird a number of them were on the sweet side. It just tasted like char siew. Overall was quite okay, okay with the food. Took quite a while for the staff to do refills and also was kinda weird when the staff was using the table next to us to bbq the takeout orders. And yea also when we paid and left the restaurant we realised they didn't serve us the Sundubu Jigae. Quite a lot of room for improvement for the staff there.

Queued at the entrance for a good 15 mins, together with 2 more groups of customers. It's 3pm, off peak hour, the restaurant was virtually empty, but NONE of the staff even bother to acknowledge us. They did, however, took action when someone wanted to pay at the cashier, then went back to ignoring us again. We all left (us and the other groups of customers). This is not the first time I have problem with Seorae staffs' attitude though. The old auntie was often too busy commenting and talking about our son and chit chatting than actually serving us. Seorae bosses, good for you that your restaurant is normally busy and we do enjoy your food, but if you staff remain the same, this is how you lose loyal and potential customers in the long run :)

The pancake is okay, and the meat cut is fine, but it would be wonderful if the staff could barbeque it for us. The seaweed rice or plain rice go well with the steam egg. The service needs attentive. The price is a little on the expensive side.

We ordered the $98++ Set lunch. Comes with Galmaegisal, Black Pork Samgyeosal, LA Galbu, Woodamgyeob, Sundubu Jjigae and Japchae! The meat is well marinated and tastes good, but found the meat slices is way too thin!

Had a craving so popby for some BBQ. Nice to see a charcoal BBQ compared to electric versions. Smoke is well controlled and you get the charcoal cooked food taste and flavor. Portions are well sized and reasonable pricing. Go as a group to try more variety of meat cuts

It was my first time dining here. Always been wanting try this Korean BBQ restaurant. They don’t allow reservations, so I walked-in on Friday evening, around 7.45pm and the queue was long. Ordered the Ultimate Pork set and other dishes like the Rice Pancake, Stew Tofu, cold noodles and additional meat. I must say the prices are a little steep here because the portions of meat is not alot. However, like most Korean restaurants do, they have the free flow of side dishes such as Kimchi, bean sprouts and refillable ice barley drink. The meats are well marinated and tasty, but a little way too oily. Staffs are polite, but not attentive and a little slow in serving. Eating time is limited to 90 mins during peak hours (7pm - 9pm; if I remembered correctly). You order through your phone via a QR code. After 90 mins you won’t be able to order anymore. It is supposed to be an authentic Korean BBQ restaurant but it lacks the feel of it. Probably because of the atmosphere and usually authentic Korean restaurant will cook the food for you, but over here you have to cook yourself. Total price for 4 pax is slightly above $200. Ok to give it a try once a while. But in my honest opinion I prefer those authentic Korean BBQ restaurants in Tanjong Pagar as they have better pricing, taste and service.
