★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there to get new glasses, customer service was below average, i got served by an intern or something who doesn't know anything. I picked the lens with uv protection and all the fancy names. Ended up with a total of $550. That's okay. Turns out after 1 year of usage, went to a different optician and i checked the glasses from spectacle hut and IT DOES NOT EVEN BLOCK UV RAYS. Scammed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a pair of ray and glasses. After two years the frame became loose. Ask them to tighten it for me and they mentioned it’s wear and tear. Took their word as it is and bought another pair of raybans somewhere else and they (C2 Optics at admiralty) managed to tightened my old pair of glasses without asking much. Apparently spectacle huts only care about new sales and don’t care much service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nick and his team member were friendly and attentive when we visited the store to explore eyewear solutions for my mom.
After understanding more of our needs, Nick took time to explain possible solutions in light of my mom's daily activities and her eyes' conditions.
He even suggested a second visit for another eye examination to make sure of the prescription, explaining that time of day might affect the readings.
He is definitely more interested in making sure my mom receives an accurate assessment and we didn't feel pressured to make a purchase decision on the spot.
Eyewear stores can be found island wide and it takes attentive staff like Nick to leave a lasting impression.
