Tried the Thai Red curry, it was delicious and very filling! However, service is slow with only 1 person preparing the food. I was the only diner but waited quite long. I look forward to trying the other offerings!

Must try! Food is delicious and service is great. I especially love the trio tarts, udon and hibiscus tea. Unfortunately my usual order soba is not available. The cafe can get busy at times so do come early around 4-5pm to get dinner to avoid a wait! MUST TRY ??

Googled for vegetarian food after my morning walk today and found this gem. Nice and well presented vegan food at affordable prices. ? Good service and time saving online menu, however online menu maybe hinder less tech savvy elderly clients or people with no credit cards. Don't mind me dishing some feedback because I would really like to see you guys do well. ? 1. Try placing some attractive food pictures and menu with pricing at the pillars and exterior of the shop. Laminated menus can also be placed on the tables outside. I was sitting outside for 15mins and saw 3 passerbys standing outside the shop, trying to figure out what you are selling before walking away. 2. Try changing the white lights to warm Edison lighting. It would attract more eyeballs and improve the ambience. 3. Try adding some speakers outside of the shop to help take away some of the traffic noise with music that matches your branding. Good luck ?

1st visit. Quality and fresh ingredients used. The rice in the Thai red curry were high quality short grain brown rice that's plump and fluffy. The buddha bowl is wonderfully combined and the texture is perfect. Highly recommend the truffle gyoza.

Absolutely scrumptious and such generous portions!!! We ordered the wakame, lotus root and edamame as sides and these were so fantastic. But the mains just blew us away by hitting all the right spots. First, the Thai Red Curry was so authentic with perfectly cooked ingredients that melt in your mouth while accompanied by fluffy rice. Next, the creamy RosΓ© udon with sautΓ©ed mushrooms was extremely rich and tasty. We were so satisfied and full by the end of it. The lavender mint tea was also perfectly done to wash down our lunch. We couldn’t help ordering back 3 other mains and 1 side for dinner, along with 2 desserts. We chose to sit outdoors but you can also seat yourself at the bar tables inside.

100% Vegan! Yay! For too long we've missed Singapore's acclaimed vegan master chef Lee Ting's dishes from her days running Soul Alife at Changi City Point, so our reunion today at her new restaurant The Plant Food off Upper Thompson Road was a pure delight! The menu is only slightly different, like there's now more than one kind of Buddha Bowl! Today I enjoyed the Garlic Hummus Buddha Bowl - not only was it delicious, but I think it's a larger portion compared with the Soul Alife version. My wife ordered the Watermelon Poke Bowl. According to her, it is, "Very good. Wholesome, tasty, and a generous portion." So generous, in fact, that she couldn't finish and took a lot of it home. We shared a side of Truffle Mushroom Gyoza - really nice featuring the Singapore-brand ALTN steamed vegan gyoza in non-dairy creamy truffle mushroom broth. We also shared a pot of brewed Osmanthus Oolong Tea, which went very well with the dishes, and poured about 3 1/2 cups for each of us. The new-ish restaurant has a cozy bright vibe with seating for about a dozen people at counter seats inside where the comfortable aircon can be enjoyed, while outside there are tables that provide seating for about ten pax. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable/helpful with the menu items. Easily accessible near the Upper Thompson and Marymount MRT stations. The Plant Food is nearby the BlueSG station at L3 in the Shunfu Market and Hawker Center multi-storey carpark (Block 320) only a four-minute walk from The Plant Food. Today we didn't have time for the desserts (we were stuffed anyway) - but I'm sure the brownies and cakes are as good as they've always been. Yes, we'll be returning - that's for sure!
