Was there to collect medication for my pet which I have been doing so regularly for the past couple of years only to be turned away today due to their change in policy to stop filling prescriptions from vets.
Reason given was that they had to fill prescriptions for the numerous patients around. However when you do look around, there’s less than 5 people waiting for their prescriptions to be filled.
Upon further prompts, they said to refer to the little sign posted at the start of the queue saying that they don’t do so anymore.
We live in the digital age, is it so difficult to post such “policy changes” online instead of allowing people to make wasted trips?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow in dispensing medicine. Father came here for chemo injection. The medicine for injection has to be dispensed on the same day. Nurse wanted to help to collect the medicine but the pharmacy asked 101 questions. 45 mins later, nurse asked Father to go straight down to the pharmacy and he waited at the pharmacy at level 4 for an hour for it. Stood and wait for an hour as there were no chairs available. After chemo injection, we have doctor consultation and Doc prescribed medication to him. And we have to go down to the pharmacy, waited for more than an hour again for collection. Can you imagine repeating these every month? TTSH pharmacy is a nightmare. I don't face the same issue with NUH.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They will no longer be accepting outpatient prescriptions from 1 June 2022. I always found this a useful pharmacy as they're rarely are out of stock.
As others have said, the wait times are quite long, but the process itself is usually smooth. I've sometimes had to wait up to 25 minutes which is frustrating, but as I said they almost always have what I need.
But now they will be closing their doors to outpatients, so I'll need to find an alternative.
