Ordered the special bread #5. Nice banh mi (toasted bread with pate, butter and coconut shaving with salty and sweet fish sauce flavor and bit of chili). $6.50 about 3/4 the length of a subway footlong. Nice service.

Tried the BBQ Pork and Pate banh mi ($5.50). OK portion size, good bread and veg. However, meat looked nothing like the photos - minced instead of sliced. Meat was also not very tasty and had no BBQ flavour.

Bought baguette from this stall at Toa Payoh central. I find overall the baguette kind of lack flavor for the BBQ pork as compared to Nam Nam. They do sell coffee and Vietnamese spring roll. Overall is okay.

Chanced upon Viet9 Baguette offering several options of banh mi. A rather rare find in the heartlands. Was served by a friendly lady and came to know that the business is about 2mths old. The lady was quick to recommend their best sellers #3 and #6...i opted for #6 ($5.50) - as the BBQ pork sounded enticing. Toasted crunchy fluffy bread roll stuffed with vege, condiments and 3 skewers of bbq pork. It was more towards a coarsely minced pork satay, well marinated and with a hint of lemongrass. I personally would like more lemongrass to cut down the porky taste. The bbq flavours would have been more pronounced if the skewers got a bit more char from the grill. I like my banh mi spicy, the addition of some fresh chili vinaigrette (this is optional) gave each bite more punch and complemented well with the meat. Great addition to the neighborhood and i do look forward to be back for more.

Opened 6 months ago. They make everything from scratch in Singapore. No import from Vietnam like many other banh mi places. Pate has no strong liver taste. Egg sauce has no weird mayo or margarine taste. I ordered number 3. Banh mi came out hot and crunchy. I finished it within 3 minutes. It was good. I am returning soon.

Authentic Baguette. ?? Just found this cool place while walking along the neighbourhood yesterday evening. Tried option 1, the Ham baguette and found that it has almost same great deliciousness as I had tasted many times in Sydney where there is a large Vietnamese community and bakeries producing great breads. I chose medium chilli but may be I will try the full options next time ?? Price is reasonable for the size of the portion.

Ordered #1 and #5. It's around $5.50-6.50 for one sandwich, which is quite value for money for the ingredients inside. Their chili has a kick!!! Wished they could toast it more to make it even crispier. Toasted one for breakfast the next day and tasted so good!

A modest stall selling authentic Vietnamese banh mi, manned by a soft spoken view lady. I ordered the traditional banh mi. Don’t forget to ask to toast it to crispier and add the chilli for the kick. Taste great when eating right out of the toaster! The jelly pork and liver filling were great. Opened right at 9am and customers kept coming.
