Best Yakiniku restaurant in Singapore

R	Raymond Soh (GFWT GoodFoodWillTravel) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here coz I was craving for yakiniku but didn’t want to over spend. Ended up ordering the more premium beef sets which doesn’t taste as good as the better (and more $$$) yakiniku restaurants. Lesson learnt… come here for the normal beef sets but save your money for better yakiniku restaurants if you are in the mood to splurge. Don’t settle for in-between. The high ball is good!
J	James on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Time of visit: Weekends/Holidays, 1.40-1.45. place was not crowded, we were seated immediately. Service: Prompt and fast, but did not offer to refill tea. Did not ask if customers are familiar with their system. Menu: Lacks customisation features. Covid measures: Did not remind customers to keep their masks till food arrives. Taste: My set - "Yakiniku-Go" was average. The other set - "A5 Miyazaki" looked pretty but not tender not flavourful. Disappointing. Take caution when they trumpet the brand but don't specify the cut.
S	Say Kiat Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beef is well marinated and sauce is appetizing. The soup is a bit too salty but the seed weed tastes good. Ordered ribeye and wagyu strip loin. The latter is better because the meat oozed with a flavorful juice when you bite into it.
W	Wei xiong Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Karubi set (200g) Double Karubi set (200g) ? Food wise: Beautiful colours of the meat and gorgeous marbling. Always satisfying to see these colours. ✨ Ambience wise: It felt almost like Yakiniku Like, but slightly different. Meat quality tasted about the same, juicy, tender, and soft. The marinates, wise, I might be biased, but lose out to Like, but still nice though. Heavy eaters might not be impressed, there was only 1 standard size rice portion. Range of sauces, well, one will prefer the wide range of sauces that Like provided. But the fresh garlic chili that Go Plus had, was a nice touch to the meats! ?? Service wise: Great! ? Price wise: The prices were not nett compared to Like. Karubi set (200g) $15.80 Double Karubi set (200g) $23.80
W	Wayne Toh Bun Chin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised that we could make a reservation for 7pax one day before. First time trying Yakiniku-GO Plus. The quality of the beef was better than what I was expecting. Definitely not the top-grade beef, but for the price I paid, I thought it was good and decent. Love the thick-cut Gyutan.

It’s cheaper if you take the set meals, however I opted for alacarte since I don’t really wish to eat the rice. Just here for the carnivorous experience. Overall a great dining experience.

High quality meats. Setup was great as there was minimal smoke and smell. It was a very pleasant dining experience for a BBQ place. Definitely a place that is worth a revisit.
X	Xenocide Duke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there on a Monday around lunch. Not very crowded as the place was quite huge. Got seated after a short wait. Ordering via QR code. This branch has the “plus” menu with slightly more choices. The regular set are really worth it. Add on A5 premium wagyu if you feel like splurging or go for the normal karubi and topside which I find is really value for money. Smoke less grills. Won’t leave you smelling like BBQ after finishing. Set comes with rice, choice of kimchi, radish kimchi or salad and a bowl of soup. Grilled meat over rice, and dipping their sauce is delicious too. Pair with Japanese highball is the perfect combo. Can’t wait to try again!
