75 Ah Balling Peanut Soup (Bedok) - 85 Bedok North Street 4

The best Ah Balling in Singapore in my opinion. Smooth, delicate, flavorful and delicious. Finally found out that there is one in the East other than the Chinatown one! And it opens till late 1130pm! Great for late night dessert cravings!

One of the best tang yuan I’ve had. Definitely get their signature peanut soup - it has a unique flavour that I have not found anywhere else. The tang yuan themselves were soft and fillings so molten they ooze out when you bite into them. Highly recommend the peanut and sesame flavours.

Tasty tang yuan soup! The rice balls are really soft and the peanut and sesame filling are great. It was unfortunate that the green tea and yam flavor were not available when I was there but would definitely try next time. I had it with ginger soup which is nice but I expect it to have more ginger taste. Queue can be quite long even on weekday.

Amazing dessert store! Super friendly auntie serving nice variety of dumpling choices (peanut, sesame, red bean, yam paste, green tea) and soup bases (ginger, almond, peanut). You can even mix and match the dumpling types to your liking or even order the soup on its own without any dumplings. My personal favorite was the almond soup, it was so smooth with the right balance of sweetness and flavor. The peanut soup was a pleasant surprise as the peanuts had the melt in your mouth feels. The green tea flavored dumplings, which was a first for me, were pretty fragrant as well. A definite must try!

My all time fav abl soup place whenever i come to Bedok 85. This is the same outlet as the one at Golden Mile just that they don’t have the longan red date soup. But that’s ok. It’s nothing fancy also since people normally order the peanut soup or almond milk. Other wise the menu is more or less the same. My all time favs are the peanut, black sesame and the red bean!

Love the tang yuan texture - Q and thin with generous filling. Peanut soup base is on the sweet side in my personal opinion.

Craving satisfied! As someone born in Ipoh, Malaysia, I’d like to declare that Funny Mountain has the best Tong Yuen but this definitely sent me down memory lane ? Tips: Arrive between 9-9.15pm to avoid the queue :D Speak LOUDER when ordering because the aunty (short hair, no glasses) is like kinda deaf ? PayNow is accepted as well as cash I ordered the 6 Tong Yuen + soup which came to $S 3.20 (2 sesame, 2 green tea and 2 yam) Yam is not sweet and perfect for those who like Orh Nee. Green Tea was a pleasant surprise too and actually tasted like proper green tea ?! Sesame was great albeit sweet Only negative point: the 汤is too sweet. Felt like I was gonna get diabetes on the spot. (I drink my coffee without sugar lol)

The awesomelious tang yuan (汤圆) at ah balling peanut soup at Bedok 85 is super exceptional! In my personal opinion, the balling are very tasty, soft, fluffy and well prepared. Be prepared to be spoilt as they have a total of 5 different balling flavours and 3 different soup choices for you to choose from. Please do remember to decide on the flavours and soup base before ordering. They also allow you to mix and match depending on how many balls you order. All of them are so friendly with the customer and also recommends you on the popular flavours if you're first time there. I highly recommend this place if you crave for some desserts after your dinner!
