This building has suffered a number of major faults, especialy during rains. In particular, the back half of the building suffered a number of power outages during rains which required a pro-longed outage (12+ hours) for repairs. The lift has suffered faults on a number of occasions, at least two multi-day outages, including one right now. During the recent lift breakdowns, the lights did not function and the stairways were dark, only when you go halfway down does it turn on, meaning you have to go through half the stairs in complete darkness. Management company and "Chairman" decided to "not to on all the staircase lights 24:7", despite the stairwell being very dark between the first and second floors. I admit I do not know the additional cost of turning on the lights in the stairwell during times of elevator outages, but I am very concerned if the management company is more worried about these costs over the safety of the residents.
