★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best soon kueh I've tasted. Texture is smooth and firm but not too oily. Ingredients not full but the proportion just right to fill every mouthful. Will definitely remember to get this if I've craving for it even though I'm not a fan of soon keuh

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried recently. To my disappointment, the SOON KUEH skin is slightly THICK. I still prefer the stall @ Bedok Central hawker centre or the Kovan hawker centre.

The 算盘子 is nice, but seems a little bit pricey for the small portion — but I do understand the ‘difficulty’ & ‘trouble’ to make & cook that though

These simple snacks are hard to make, but easy to miss the marks. But the craft women of this stall have perfect the ingredients and process for mouthful of delights.

I really like the texture of the skin as it's chewy and sticky. It is served hot too.
The chives kueh is well marinated and has a good crunch.
The soon kueh filling is very well marinated and soft.
Would like it if the skin is thinner and fillings are more packed. ?
