Appalling service and negative attitude. My boy discovered that someone added SANITISER in his half eaten plate of rice 28th July 2021 while having lunch at the student care. No one bothered to inform or update regarding the incident. I had to chase for an update repeatedly. I went down to the centre on 29th July and was greeted by Mr Yong and Mdm Tan. Mr Yong claims my boy had finished his food and it is normal for people to throw used tissue or even add sanitiser. Children are only playing. Then dismisses my concerns and repeats that this is normal. He excused himself and claims he is just a tutor at the centre. I asked for their help to check the CCTV footage to verify ( Accendo claims that it is only on at certain timings) . Luckily my boy discovered something was amiss as the 2 boys were lurking around his plate of food. At the time of incident, there were only 3 boys in the classroom with no teacher/adult supervision. Only my boy was having his lunch as he reached the centre later that day. No updates again after my visit on 29th. Chased again via whatsapp on 3rd Aug. No update- still investigating Finally updated on 10th August. Previously Mr Yong who claimed he is just a tutor, now is informing me as Centre Manager. I was informed that the other child who added the sanitiser was just playing. When asked why is there no update. According to Mr Yong on 10th August 1735hrs ( recorded) Quote It is no big deal since your child did not eat the rice with sanitiser.  No one was injured so we do not think it is serious. Unquote Prior to my visit on the same day, they apparently conducted an interview with my boy ( more than 10 days after the incident). They asked leading questions and accused my boy of lying, causing him great distress. Using inappropriate examples with no relevance to the incident. Instead of fact finding, they are trying to dismiss the whole incident. All I ask is for a safe environment for my child. However their extreme and irresponsible response towards this incident is appalling. I am blessed that my child is vigilant to check his food and did not ingest the contaminated food. Pray that the other kids are safe from the malicious acts which are condoned as child's play
