Ah poh can most definitely hold its own against the 2 more famous stalls in this market. Soup was fantastic. Noodle definitely from a different supplier, for theirs is not akaline. Pork ball was a little let down on the taste department. Ah poh is the only stall that offers chilli padi!

This is my next go to stall for minced meat noodle at Fengshan 85 Market. I have been eating the minced meat noodle from Xing ji and Ah Poh alternatively. If you observed carefully, the cook behind ah poh used to work at Xing Ji. Probably he came out to open this shop on his own. Taste wise, it is pretty much similar to me. A bowl of noodles starts from SGD$3 onward, you can have either have your minced meat noodle with or without the meatball. Both Xing Ji and ah Poh serves only the soup version.

The best soup version of minced meat noodle in Singapore!! Thick and tasty soup. Try to eat noodle with their chilli, it’s not spicy but fragrance. LOVE IT! and their service is nice, will send to our table instead of collecting ourself. I very appreciated that coz it’s quite inconvenient to collect ourself when u have little kid with u and it’s not good to ask them walk around when crowded, or left them alone at the seat.

I have tried the other 2 popular ones but by far Ah Poh has the better balanced taste of nice ba chor mee. The mee is just right and springy and soup is definitely tasty without msg as I react quickly to msg. I strongly recommend mee lovers to try this stall.

They are fxxxing rude of oldies - all the 3 of them. Once I placed my order, u can't freaking leave the stall even if u tell them u will be back in 2mins. They said I will miss my order if I do that - despite after paying for it? Wth? There was a guy whose order is ready and he was only 2 meters away from them, talking to his friends, they were screaming at the top of their voice for him to pick up his noodles. Your order has to be pick up IMMEDIATELY once it's ready, unless u want to get a lecture from them. They are the least famous bah Chor mee stall of the 3, and describing them as rude is an understatement. Big bowl means 4 additional meat balls, soup is not as flavourful as the other 2 famous BCM stalls.

This stall sells lovely bak chor mee. The noodles are springy, the soup is tasty and the meatballs are firm! Prices are reasonable at $3 / $4. Surprisingly the queue is rather short as people always head for the other two more famous stalls (which I’ve tried and I think are of similar standard as this one)

亚宝肉脞面 I have been patronising at this minced meat stall for the past years, as the other two popular stalls have extremely long queue at times, and Ah Poh’s minced meat is equally good if not better in my opinion. Ordered the bigger bowl at S$4.50. The soup, minced meat and meat balls were awesome! Yummy!

The service here is by far the roughest amongst all BCM stalls here at Bedok 85 but it is still my go-to. My bowl of noodles are always absolutely piping hot and cooked just right. The stock is flavourful without being cloy and is just as good as the famous two. In fact, this stall is said to be a “branch” of the more popular Xing Ji. What stands out for me here is an unusual suspect - chilli padi. The chilli padi brings the perfect amount of heat I desire - something that is lacking in all other bowls of BCM at Bedok 85. If you can look past the rude uncle, and accept ordering from a stall that isn’t “famous”, you’ll be in for a treat. Note: order the smaller portion. The larger portion simply has more balls. Tried and regretted.
