I know Albedo Design through refer by my friend. When I visit to my friend house, I saw the quality and workmanship of their house. So that I ask for the contact number of ID firm reno their house. This is my first time to purchase house in Singapore, I hope to find one stop renovation service. I won’t regret to choose Albedo Design because they always provide a good service and professional ideas for us. Why can’t do like that? Why should do like that? What are the pros and cons? The designer patiently explained every details of each part: materials, colour, carpenter, furniture, and so on. Thanks Albedo!! We love our home even more.

Saw a few positive reviews online hence I decided to contact them to ask for a quotation. Had a zoom meeting with one of their ID. I mentioned to the ID that I would like to use the db box as a shoe cabinet. She asked me where is the db box when we were both looking at my floor plan via zoom. I am sure an experienced ID would be able to tell where the db box is by looking at the floor plan. Anyway, the ID did not get back to me with a quotation as promised. It has been 2 months since the zoom meeting. If they are not keen in managing my project, I think it’s basic courtesy to at least inform me.

We engaged Albedo Design recent renovation of our HDB 5 Rooms. Due to the design was outdated and older, we decide to redesign our home. We felt some existing furniture still in good condition. We spoke with a few designers from few ID forms and let them know our budget. Finally, we choose Albedo Design because they were supportive and helpful to recommend the good renovation ideas for us to remain some existing reno. After we move in, Albedo Design was responsive to revamp any defect we found that needed to improve without any additional cost. They help us to save 10k renovation cost. With this cost, the quality and workmanship are above my expectation! I would like to recommend this ID firm to everyone. It was definitely a good first-timer experience, engage with Albedo Design for our first home renovation journey.

To me, interior = investment I just wanted to renovate like drawing a white paper sketchbook, thinking about if I resell it, the taste of the owner could be fully reflected in the furniture and props. Since it is real estate, to me raising the value of the house is one of the purpose to do the interior. I wanted to change the layout to get rid of the shortcomings of the house. I was able to make a decision with the 3D drawing provided by YiShiuan. I regard everything that can take as home styling, and the space as the interior that I would leave behind after moving. From customer's point of view, it's not easy to entrust everything to the designers. But when I did, I realized it returned to me a prettier and more complete form. If the designer leads, I can feel they don't want to see any defects in their work. So I'm very grateful to Edmund. Thank you Edmund & YiShiuan I recommend Albedo Design.

I was recommended to Melvin by my neighbourhood who had a wonderful renovation work done to her home. Melvin knew exactly what we wanted when we shared our ideas for our new home. He was very attentive to details and gave good recommendations. Renovation was completed on time with superior quality. We have a busy work schedule but Albedo team made initiative to update us through WhatsApp group. They solve the problem immediate. Thanks for the Albedo team! We love our new home!

Note: We did not go with Albedo for very specific project/property related reasons, BUT are still leaving the best review we can specifically because of how impressed we were with Yi Shuan. Yi Shuan's attention to detail, listening ear, ability to understand design goals/aesthetic ideas were excellent, and far better than most of the IDs we shortlisted during the quotation/initial consultation phase. Her follow-up service during the pre-contract signing phase was also excellent. For these reasons we highly recommend Yi Shuan specifically.

Very very bad experience with this company. Slow response, shoddy works, not professional. Almost 2 years since the starts of renovation in July 2019 and I am still chasing them to finish outstanding defective works. I did not post any feedback here earlier as I am trying to be patience with them. There is limits to ones patience. Updating my review from about a month ago: The ID, Melvin Woo, had since become uncontactable as he has left this company, without handing over the outstanding defective works to another staff to follow up. This is very irresponsible attitude. He did nothing much except work co-ordination and even then failed in his duty. Materials recommended are of either inferior quality or not appropriate for use (company trying to make more money? or due to ignorance). This company is basically a sub-contractor by origin and venture into ID work. Even as a sub-contractor their works quality is sub par. Now I am left with so much un-rectified defective works, new windows with defects (carried out by their sub-contractor), uneven vinyl flooring, broken floor skirting, popping and cracked wall tiles (by their own workers), that I might have to go to CASE to resolve the issue. Reply from their customer service is nonsense. What a good excuse to give that you extend the warranty due to covid. Renovation work was supposed to be completed and handover in Oct 2019, but so much delay and procrastination in rectification works that by lockdown in Apr 2020 not much were done. For obvious reasons, full payment already collected. "Buyer" beware. Even now (23/10/2021), request for material info used in the renovation goes unanswered. Need the info so I can get others to complete the defective works left behind by them. See their skirting work below.

We are extremely pleased we selected Albedo design as our ID. From the beginning, they was welcoming and engaging with us on our thoughts and ideas on the renovation of our new place. Throughout this process, they are patient, listened and gave their professional advice. Moreover, they kept a keen eye on managing the on-goings and issues that arose during the course of the renovation. We are really pleased on the overall outcome. Also the quality of Albedo design workmanship is extremely good as well. We are highly recommended Albedo Design. I believe they can be trusted to give your ideal dream home. ??
