The Quest for most awesome biryani is never ending. lamb shank biryani is their house special and for $20 is bit on the pricey side for a coffee shop stall however it's sizeable and will easily content any local biryani lover. Flavour tilted towards Malay Wedding Biryani style, light rice with rich gravy infused meat. It's a comfort biryani.

A lot of hype but left disappointed. Chicken and Mutton was sold out and had to settle for the fish briyani which I felt was overpriced at $8. Had wanted to try their lamb shank briyani but decided to give it a miss as it was $18.

Former national footballer Rafi Ali's nasi biryani stall. Tender and fragrant mutton with fluffy rice! Superb!

Best nasi briyani in CBD area! The signboard claimed to be from previous Malaysia railway station at Tg Pagar. Today I tried the mutton briyani and will come back for the fish one.

Mutton Briyani perfection for $8. Literally fall off the bone tender. The meat was hands down one of the best I’ve had in my life. Rice was not too much also unlike typical briyani stalls tend to overload you with rice. Side of pickled cucumber and yogurt was good was well. As a whole a very very good plate of Briyani. Fluffy basmati rice and a huge chunk of tender mutton meat. Will definitely be back for more p.s. do check out my pics for my description!!

Compared to KTM days, the taste of mutton brayani had dropped and curently abit on the salty side for me, not my liking. Nonetheless meat portion is still reasonable. However priced had gone up too. Also Parking is not convinient now.

Biryani (SGD $9) @ Ali Nachia Briyani Dam. . The famed briyani stall from the now-defunct Tanjong Pagar railway is still serving a beloved Singaporean Muslim version of the dish after more than 20 years. . Helmed by cik Mohammed Ali (dad of footballer Rafi Ali), the basmati rice is cooked dum style, resulting in a fluffy loose texture with good aroma. The rice is mildly flavoured with grainy sweet spice notes, with the primary taste drawing from the meat and curry gravy instead. . The mutton is soft and tender, coming apart easily, and the rich complex layer of spices lends bold punchy meaty spice savoury salty flavour. No gamey taste here. . A duo of crunchy cucumbers accompany; the first in a thin yoghurt with milky sweet vegetal flavour; the second in a thin chili gravy with vegetal sweet spicy kick. And a bowl of that delicious curry gravy to complete.
