Very disappointed if it’s the same brand from Tekka Market

⚠️AVOID AT ALL COSTS⚠️ sorry excuse for a briyani. disappointing, i didn’t recall ordering a bone briyani. the bloody meat is mostly bone and it costs $6.50. got totally scammed.

@ west coast food court..just bought 1 mutton briyani & 1 chicken briyani..cost $13 both. the rice just blend. the chicken they used old fried chicken & recooked again as masala chicken. no words....

Ordered online through their website. 2nd time ordering today since they did a good job the first time around. Extremely disappointed. I indicated in my order for delivery 10-11am. But it only arrived at 12pm. Contacted then ard 1045, took them some time to reply. Claimed it was due to lalamove delivery guy but here's the second problem. Even after waiting for about an extra 1.5hrs for my food, it was an incomplete order. Which is ridiculous. I ordered: - 2 packets of fried chicken biryani SET, both missing eggs and dhalcha - 2 packets of mutton biryani SET, both missing eggs and dhalcha, 1 missing pappadum - 1 packet of mutton biryani, MISSING MUTTON! -->> basically eating only rice and pappadum - 1 packet of chicken biryani SET, missing dhalcha. So look, I was told it was lalamove's fault. But if the shop had so much time to wait for the next lalamove delivery guy, my order should have been COMPLETE!! It seemed like they forgot my order, forgot so many things and messed everything up. On top of that I requested for cutlery, no surprise that NONE WAS GIVEN. So if I calculate the price of each missing item, it'll total to abt $12. Am I going to get that money back??? Shortchanged me 2 meals worth. Not sure how it's like if ordering in person. But at least if they forgot anything, one can still go back and claim for it immediately.

Big disappointment. Should have read Google reviews before ordering, but was fooled by the big brand name. I had the $6.5 mutton biryani set. To start off, the food came lukewarm instead of hot. I like my food hot and steaming, and the hawker assured me it was. The biryani was tasteless, as if they put in only a tenth of the spices normally used. it was like eating rice soaked in turmeric, not biryani. The rice did not taste like basmati either. The mutton curry was a average, but there was too much bones and too little meat compared to other stalls. The dhal gravy was weak and thin, and the pappadums were soggy, not crisp. The only saving grace was the cucumber salad, which came with a yoghurt dressing. This stall is the worse of all biryani stalls I have tried at Ayer Rajah, and a big disgrace to its Tekka stall.

We tried out this stall today - the chicken briyani was nice but wished the chicken piece was bigger.? Rice was the usual fluffy briyani kind, so are the achar and gravy...all tasty enough and good for me. I will come back to taste the mutton. The stall looked neat and clean. All food served on disposables, but no, plastic fork and spoon, unlike metal ones, cannot handle the task of breaking up the chicken. The staff was friendly and helpful, and was transparent, explaining what the price comprised which made us comfortable. Opposite it was the drinks stall and we had our usual teh tarek - small, kurang manus (cut sugar). Ample seats, probably because it was thunderstorming.
