Extremely unprofessional given the lapses in communication. I used Allied to move personal effects from Singapore to New Delhi. There were delays in sending the shipment given COVID and supply chain disruptions, which is understandable, but delays ware never communicated to us by the team. We would only find out about the delays once we followed up on the status of the shipment. The worst part is that the team in India and the team in Singapore were not talking to each other and so we had to do a lot of back and forth between the two teams to ask them to communicate with each other and move things forward. Our shipment arrived at the port two weeks ago, the custom clearance was done and shipment released from port a week ago but because of the communication challenges between the two teams - we have not been given any indication on the shipment will leave the port despite multiple follow ups. After a few email follow ups - one team says they cannot move forward since the other team hasn't done XYZ. It has been a very frustrating process where the client is expected to continuously follow up and act as the liaison to connect the two Allied teams. I would not recommend their service!

I informed your manager that there will be 20-25 boxes of books, one sofa and one tower fan. I also attached photos of the sofa and fan in our correspondence. According to your estimated moving costs, I choose Allied to help my relocation to HK. However, after the mover came and packed, they told me that the volume has exceeded by 5 cubic feet despite there were only 19 boxes of books. As a result, I have to leave the sofa here. The size of the book cartoon is fixed and I have showed you the picture of sofa and tower fan, I am not sure how this still happened. Thanks.

They helped us work through multiple options for our move from Singapore to the United States. They helped us find the most cost effective shipping plan which we really appreciate. Day of move was very smooth. Crew was friendly and professional. Job well done.

I am moving from Singapore to USA. Right from the point where I got the quote to the point where they came home and packed the stuff for shipping, it has been a smooth and pleasant experience. They assigned a Move coordinator who remains in constant touch with you to guide you through the process. The crew who came home were very efficient, professional and friendly. We are still in the process of moving, but I have had no complaints thus far. Good job! Looking forward to a similar experience while unpacking in USA.

I don't have a positive review. We have had 2 shipments leaving Singapore at the same time, one to France and one to Dubai. Sales, packing and initial part of move fantastic. We were given a move manager in Singapore for both shipments and this is where as a customer you are dropped. The Move Manager did not communicate, did not reply to emails, answer her phone or respond to messages left, for any information we had to refer back to our initial sales person. In Dubai we were given another equally pointless Move Manger. Turns out she's actually in a call centre in India. Allied Pickfords provided a great sales person, glossy brochure, and packers, but once money was handed over, any form of service/communication ended. Eventually you are so grateful that your belongings actually arrive that you let it go. Shame they are not a business that has to rely on repeat customers, there can't be many. At the sales point there is plenty of talk about their service, it falls very short of that.

I have moved with Allied in June 2022. Before the move, the move coordinator in charge was totally unresponsive, taking more than 2 weeks to reply to my questions after I sent her several reminders. During packing, on day 1 the head of the team was not even aware there were 2 different destinations, and on day 2 there was no head at all for the team. Some items that should have been moved have been forgotten. Some boxes were damaged during loading and the team did not feel it was necessary to replace them to protect the goods before i asked them to. Some items were just loaded into the container without any carton box protection. Loading into the container has been done unprofessionally, pushing the boxes until they could fit and several items fell from the container. After the move, I complained about these issues to a Service Manager, and 3 weeks later I still not have received a proper response from them, I am being told that they're still waiting for the report from the moving team ! Overall every step has been very unprofessional both in the action and the customer management and service. Not recommended at all (and not cheaper than other moving companies). The only responsive person was the commercial person in charge.

Right from the start Allied was very professional and responsive. I was able to book a video survey within 4 business days. After which they provided the quotes within 4 business days and followed up closely on a call to address my queries. I like that they were able to quote a few quotes as some of my items were under 'pending/not confirm' that will be moved so I could gauge if it was worth bringing those not so important items across. Once I confirmed my move date, accepted the move proposal and paid, they were able to arrange for the packing date within 4 business days. The movers came and carefully packed all my items within 2.5 hours. Now my items are in transit and I have no doubt it will reach safely and handled professional as well by their Australia counterparts. Would like to specially thank the Singapore Allied team that helped me with my household goods shipping - Franco (Team Lead-In Home Sales), Lucia (Business Development Manager) and Rina (Move Coordinator), will highly recommend Allied to everyone! Thank you!

Shipping our household items is a daunting task, but at every stage, the staff was courteous and the communication was very thorough. On the actual day of uplift, the workers were very skilled in packing. This helped me feel confident in their service. Highly recommend Allied. A pretty penny to fork out, but the quality, their communication & reassurance is well worth it.
