Give a 1 star as it is not possible to give zero star! Beware! I received a call from a 3rd party partner of Audio House, Alpha Cool Engineering Pte Ltd, regarding installation. The person who called, Jasmine, tried to upsell insulation , whiteboard, brackets, without even delivery to the venue. She rattled all these off in a phone conversation and asked if I can confirmed. When I asked if it is possible to decide upon delivery, I was told NO. Such a scam-like behaviour!!!

Uncle was unprofessional and rude. He did not bring any equipment and insisted to do chemical washing for the aircon even though we only bought the aircon for less than 2 years. Stormed out of the house and told us to find the agent right after we asked him to bring his equipment to check without any resolution given.

It was March 2017 that we went to Audio House Expo show. we wanted to replace our old 3-split aircon with a 4-split one. We were persuaded by the sales guy to buy a Panasonic. The installation was done by Alpha cool engineering. A few weeks ago, the casing in master room began leaking water. I opened the casing myself, quite some water flew out. It must have been accumulating for many days. The problem is with the insulation pipe, I could see the heavy condensation about one meter along the pipe. The pipe was filled with condensed water. Two holes on the pipe as well, not sure if they were cut during installation or because of wearing down. Indeed, a few weeks after the installation, there was water leakage. The installation co, Alpha cool engineering, came down to wrap the condensation part with another layer and went away. This aircon servicing co did ask me if I wanted to use premium insulation or normal one before installing. I thought the normal one should last a few years. But I was totally wrong, their lowest quality insulation pipe lasted only a few weeks, and then after double wrapping, lasted two years and started to wear down, causing condensation. The outside pipe besides compressor was also badly worn out. It is even worse than the pipe inside room. I had to engage another co. to do re-piping. The cost is $400 for one unit only. To do all new piping, cost will be 1.2k. Not very sure who decided to sell the lowest quality insulation pipe to customer. The speculation is, both Audio and Alpha cool wanted to cut cost so as to make their price competitive, but quality is definitely much below the industry standard. I gave them 2 stars because i was not sure who made the decision on the lousy insulation pipe, Audio House or Alpha. If it is Alpha, the rating will be 1 star only. I believe at a certain point of time, not very soon from now , there will be leakage again, as their thin insulation pipe is not designed to last long. I have to leave aide another budget to redo the piping in future. UPDATES 16 Jan 2022. Since public review (see below), with some intervention from Mega Discount store, owner has improved the service and was more responsive in rectification of the issue. Technician was largely punctual and after 3 more coordinated meeting, problem has been rectified (hopefully). Joint at the compressor was leaking. Wished they had been more responsive in the beginning. PAST REVIEW 1. Installed LG aircon, bought fr Mega Discount, using Alpha Cool as recommended contractor. 2. Installed in Jul2021 and ac gave problem in Oct2021. All rooms except 1 room not working and had error message. Called AlphaCool and they insisted LG issue 3. Subsequently all room cannot be cold. 4. Called LG which did a thorough Chk and found gas leaking. 5. Arrange AlphaCool for repairs Abd when they arrive found that installation at compressor caused leaked gas. Technician even commented that location of inlet is so difficult (note installed by them) 6. Today, called AlphaCool at both office and mobile since 9am 7. Managed to only get response at 12:30pm 8. Advised same issue and now AlphaCool AGAIN say LG issue and dragging to come and check. 9. Service Lady … possibly boss (Jasmine) most unhelpful. Only can check with technician tomorrow morning to get schedule ??‍♂️ And likely next week ?. So dun count on them for emergency or quick help. 10. Also during this period, found that their regular servicing package most expensive. 11. Their recommendation : “New aircon, can arrange servicing 6-8 months after used” . This Aircon less than 6 months spoil twice. 12. I have checked with 3 other servicing companies ..: all lower cost. 13. I would NOT recommend using them. 14z I would also recommend Mega Discount store to stop recommending using them.

Engaged them for Aircon servicing. Servicing done only for 1 fan coil unit but charged for 2. We have paid for the (over charged) servicing and was issued with receipt, but they insisted that payment wasn't received. Bunch of scammers! Side note: the uncle was also very rude, spoke with very angry tone and roughly handled our unit

The two installers who came to my site in the east on 30 June 2022 did a SUPER SUPER SUPER good job. Omg. Well done. They also had good leadership (while having a very kind and likeable nature), as they took over an "on the fly" role of site-survey which was required on the actual day of installation. Very steadfast, very careful and thoughtful, and guided everyone calmly. The on-the-fly site survey was completed frill-free very efficiently!
