She communicates well with the client, and gives them a good idea and description of the end result, along with what can or cannot be done. Additionally, she speaks very eloquently in English too, which is splendid for clients such as yours truly who only speak and understand a smattering of Mandarin. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the service provided, and the lead time is acceptable, given that this is a very popular establishment for people living nearby to alter their clothes. I have sent 10 pairs of designer jeans for alteration (shortening and tapering) thus far, and all 10 pairs have turned out perfectly, fitting me exactly the way I wanted. I will continue to patronize Alteration with Love for any of my denim and pants alteration needs in future. Certainly, one might be able to get their clothes altered at a slightly cheaper price at other stores. However, there is a clear distinction of getting something done, and getting something done RIGHT. Aunty is really quick and efficient, while at the same time maintaining a professional attitude and providing quality alterations. She’s located within the market so it may be harder for some to find if you have never been there before. I was able to pay by GrabPay and other form or ePayments were available as well. I would highly recommend her services to anyone in The Central/North area.

Nobody would be able to guess that's not how it was made. (Excuse my poorly taken picture and unironed dress ?)

She appeared to be very knowledgeable about the material and even explained to me how she could alter the clothing items. But recently, I've noticed that her service did not match up with what she described and she’s charging at such a high rate for a neighborhood area. I had sent in 2 clothing items to be altered and she explained that she would have to cut to have a seamless finish which in the end she just sew a small section at the front, which I can also do that myself, and charged me $20+ per item.. ? Disappointed.
