If you want to ace your math, AM academy is the place to go. Within a short few months, my E and A math went from a fail grade to A2 and B3 respectively. Alvin’s clear explanation, together with his patience, equips students with the skills needed to tackle every type of question. Most importantly, Alvin will ensure that any doubts of hjs students’ are cleared, and drill them with adequate practice until sitting for O Levels will just be another math practice. I always looked forward to going for lessons at AM academy as it is a wonderful community to learn and laugh together. I am so glad to have came here!

Alvin was my tutor from 2015 - 2016. I constantly scored poorly for E-Maths and never did better than a F9. He taught me mathematical techniques and skills to ace the subject and after attending tuition with him, I truly started to enjoy Maths. With his guidance, I started practicing Maths daily and found myself loving the subject. He gave me constant encouragement which motivated me to work even harder. I scored a B3 for my O Levels, the best grade I had ever received in secondary school. I then went on to study an Engineering course in Poly where I excelled in Math modules and even became a peer tutor for weaker students who were doing badly. Even though it has been awhile since I left AMath Academy, I will never forget the knowledge I had been imparted with. Thank you for showing me my true potential Alvin! ☺️

Having been to many other tuition centers in Singapore, I can safely say that AM Academy is the best tuition center. I have never dreaded to attend lessons and this place has not only helped me find studying more enjoyable but also ensured that i have a deeper understanding of the things that I am learning in school. Not only that, AM academy has a warm and welcoming community that makes everyone feel comfortable. Alvin helped me in my math significantly as my grades improved from C6/D7 for Emath and Amath at the start of Sec 4 to A2/A1 for O levels. Emmanuel also significantly improve my grades for physics going from a C5 to an A2 despite only joining his classes a few weeks before the start of O levels.

At the end of J1 I was struggling to pass math and economics, after joining AM academy and under the tutelage of Ms Lee and Emmanuel, I witnessed a stark jump in my grades. The patience and dedication towards the students directly translates to academic improvement. Moreover, the time taken to get to know each student individually adds to the effectiveness of the teaching as well as making it so much more comfortable during lessons, removing all hesitation when wanting to clarify any doubts. My experience at AM academy is one that I am forever grateful for!

AM Academy has really been the best tuition centre I’ve ever been to :) I think what differentiates it from other centres is the culture there, where the teachers are more like friends, and they are always willing to go the extra mile for you. I was taught by Alvin and Max for Math, as well as Ms Lee for sciences and I can safely say that I’ve enjoyed all my lessons under them and definitely learnt a lot c: The teachers really put in their time and effort to attend to every student and make sure that each person is taken care of. You can also rest assured that lessons are catered to your level of mastery and can be flexibly adjusted to suit your learning needs. You won’t have any regrets joining !! :D

I joined AMA in secondary 4 and attended math lessons by Alvin, I then continued at the JC level under the guidance of Ms Lee. My experience in AMA really helped me out in my academic journey. I would say that AMA has been much more than just a tuition centre for me. It provided an ideal environment for me to study, and teachers who genuinely care and guide you. I would definitely recommend joining, as I have been able to score A1s for both mathematics subjects and an A for H2 mathematics. I have also had tremendous support and advice from teachers that I believe is truly invaluable!

Coming from an academically weaker background, I always found it hard to understand certain mathematical topics during my secondary school days. Meeting Alvin and joining AM Academy was definitely one of the best choices I have ever made during secondary school. Alvin, when above and beyond to personally take the time to slowly build my foundation on the subject even when it meant staying back after lessons to go through with me questions that I did not understand how to solve. Ultimately, it was his patience and guidance that helped me achieve A's for both my math and A math. I am thankful to have come across such a passionate and driven teacher who would give his all to teach and help his student!!

I’ve been a student at AM Academy from 2018-2021 and I’ve had nothing short of an enriching time through all the years I’ve spent there The jump from N to O levels was pretty big especially for English. My once-A1 grade for the N level standard had seemed to drop to a C6 grade in terms of O levels standard. I could not grasp the answering techniques and skills that was expected of me for O levels. Additionally, the lack of English resources and minimal help in school made me panic a lot more. Then came Mrs Er — Her lessons had never been a bore and were always engaging. She used real-life practical situations like making us read news articles before our classes and leading us into discussions on what we’d read for us to develop on our ideas. It was my favourite part of her lesson which also helped us to be armed with creative skills for oral and continuous writing. Her passion to teach and impart knowledge unto us has always been admirable. Mrs Er’s encouraging demeanour has always been something that pushes her students to go beyond, to put in even more effort. Safe to say, she helped me to be one of the 4 people who’d managed to attain a distinction in English for the 5NA batch in my school! Alvin, who taught me A-Math & E-math, always goes the extra mile to cater to my learning needs such as arranging for more personalised and 1-1 lessons under the other teachers, Greg & Max. It was extremely helpful as it helped me to catch up with the other students as well. I had also been under Ms Lee for Chemistry and she was constantly geared with enthusiasm to keep the class going even on tiring days. Overall, after spending countless of hours at AMA, tuition became less of a dreaded chore, and more of something that I had integrated into my routine.
