The ang ku kueh is quite good, steam them before eating to soften the skin and improve the texture.

Purchased the sweet potato, yam, black sesame and red bean variant of the rainbow lapis, and a kueh salat. The black sesame and red bean flavours are more pronounced than the former. Love the springy, smooth and soft layers of each kueh. If you love peeling layer by layer, these are sure to givd you that satisfaction.

Bought a box of our family’s favourite green bean ang ku kuih from the shop. We were all very disappointed that the quality has dropped! The nice pandan fragrance was gone n we were shocked that they have even replaced the banana leave for the ang ku kuih with plastic that imitate banana leaves.

Decent selection of traditional kuehs to choose from. Most are freshly made in the shop.

Old school confectionery store that makes REALLY GOOD bak zhang (dumplings). The meat inside is lean and tasty, glutinous rice is soft yet chewy. $2.50 per piece. They also sell beng kuehs, ang ku kuehs, and many more! So glad I found this hidden gem in an old housing estate. That's where all the good things are!

Changed 1 star to 2. Ang Ku Kueh left overnight without refrigeration, the skin still has the soft texture and not too sweet. The bean paste is still sandy. As noted by one customer, the kueh sits on plastic instead of banana leaf. Kueh Salat also did not turn bad but the kaya still not tasty, feels like flour was added, no kaya flavour. Nonya kueh is all about flavour, fragrance, soft and smooth texture with pandan and banana leaves and blue pea flower essence. •••••••••••••••••••• 1 star AMK Nonya Kueh is overly rated but maybe to each its own. Nonya kueh is not a healthy snack hence the kueh should be made smaller. Even smaller, can still be shared. Each pack should hold a maximum of 3. Stumbled on her popup booth at Heartland Mall Kovan : All the kueh just tasted of sugar. Ondeh-Ondeh - yes the filling pops (fantastic, great skill !) but the gula melaka not as fragrant. The skin lacks pandan flavour. 3 colours still the green win but the purple sweet potato is healthier than the yellow. Kueh Salat - kaya and pulut do not complement each other. No fragrance. Good effort but the glutenous rice (pulut) not well cooked. Tasted rough sediments. Kaya is not too sweet but not tasty and just taste of coconut milk, lack pandan taste and fragrance and, recipe to be titrated. Ang Ku Kueh - yes skin is soft but taste only of sugar, no fragrance. The bean paste is not too sweet (great!) but not smooth (cause some itch on tongue) maybe they intended for texture to be made so. No flavour of being cooked with pandan.

Rare find traditional confectionery shop with hand made kuehs and pastries. Must try the fried yam cake!

Bought 4 png kueh. She didnt give any chilli n black sauce.. Had to walk back n get. So stingy gave me 1x black sauceu, 1x chilli sauce. Not even enough for 1.5 png kueh. Png kueh, wont buy again, nothing much inside... Jus rice...
