If there was zero stars as a rating it would be too high. The incompetence of this town council deserves an A star. Let me give you a current example - the absolute ridiculous decision to build a covered linkway in Fernvale when no one asked for one. And during a period when everyone is locked down at home - people working, kids studying. The lack of empathy and planning is atrocious with this council. It's a needless expense and the construction always exceeds the required permitted times. Guess it's more important to take care of your bff contractors than the actual residents. Not to mention this extremely noisy construction is happening between TWO schools - great conditions for kids to learn! That's sarcasm by the way just case these clowns take it as high praise. Honestly residents - make your vote count next time! Enough is Enough!

Ii call up for throwing my furniture yet the lady ask me to do it online, I told her I don't know how to make appointments online. Than she said alot excuse.. Hmm I ask her help me to arrange the appointment. And i add up 1 words, than u sit at office for what? At the end she said, I just help u this time next time u ask someone to help u book for appointments.. Within 2 mins appointment done by her... My point is everything is online, why govt still need to employ this ppl to sit at the office do nothing get get salary.

hi is it possible to fix a center shelter all the way from ang mo kio mrt to ang mo kio polyclinic, if raining wheelchair or automobile wheelchair or elderly are very inconveniently to go from mrt to the polyclinic, hopefully the town council can help them, thank you

Really bad experience talking to John Wee at Ang Mo Kio Town Council today. When he called to follow up about a complain against a neighbour weeks ago, he called and asked such shocking questions; "Are you a local?" I replied "Yes, I am a local." Then he said "but you were not born here!" What has been born here got to do with me filling a compliant! This is outrageous comments from someone working for the town council? You mean just because I don't have a chinese name, I am not a local or just because I don't speak chinese, I am not a local? Just because I speak English without Singlish, I am not local? Just because my IC number does not start with my year of birth, I am not local? You mean the town council will only aid those born in Singapore? I have been a Singaporean for more than 40 years, I am shocked at the questions asked by a member of the town council! What does it matter if I was born here or not, I am a citizen and I should get the same treatment as any person who files a complaint. This is unacceptable treatment, what does it matter if I was born here or not! Is this the bad treatment that our non chinese speaking Singaporeans are getting? I am embrassed and ashamed to think that a member of the town council would ask such discriminating questions. What has that got to do with my compliant? I don't understand how me being born in Singapore or not has any bearings with the issue at hand? This is descrimination of the worst kind, I do hope Ang Mo Kio Town Council addresses the staff's attitudes to ensure that every Singaporean is treated equally when filling a compliant! And never ask such questions to anyone ever again!

Drilling, at blk 605, WITHOUT notice on level 1 lift lobby, level 1 notice board nor at level 9 where the drilling is taking place. The corridor just painted with fresh paint last week or two, now come drill away the fresh paint at drainage area?!?! Waste of money, time AND residents' patience and kind understanding!!!! More importantly, YOUR APPROVED CONTRACTOR CARRIED OUT WORKS WITHOUT DISPLAYING NOTICE. IS THIS ACCEPTABLE?

Very efficient town council to send.staff to solve low pressure water issue on a Saturday (2 Jul) night within 1 hour of call. Proud to be in PM Lee's GRC. Well done and keep it up!
