β β β β β A true neighborhood super market catered for the daily needs of its dwellers. The prices are always cheaper than our well known NTUC Supermarket, even if the latter is on offer! I considered myself fortunate to have this supermarket within my neighborhood, though NTUC Supermarket is just a stone throw away. Hope Ang Mo Supermarket can set up more shops for the benefits of the mass majority of HDB folks.

β β β β β Nearby convenience store plus mini super-mart. Can find all the usual items for daily household needs such as groceries, drinks, basic medicines etc. Depending on the time of the day the vegetables and fruits may be run out or be very old and not in best condition. Other items such as canned food and drinks and packaged food is there from different countries which is very convenient.

β β β β β Went to the Hougang Ave 8 branch. Go and purchase for some religious use stuffs, bak chang strings. Price is relatively cheaper compared to the other major players.

β β β β β Easy to get groceries and essentials here but subject to availability. Their space is limited, hence items are seasonal. Couldn't get their Aik Cheong teh tarik today as they haven't stock up.
Good cheap place but with long queues and low ability to stock up their items

β β β β β Conveniently located within the heartland of Hougang Avenue 8 where itβs surrounded by hdb flats, this supermarket is definitely strategically located to serve the residents staying in that area. It is pretty well stocked up even though it isnβt a huge place but most of the products are relatively cheaply priced, including my favourite fish essences and other daily necessities and also taoist prayer products such as prayer paper products for ancestral worshipping. Rice packs also come in interestingly small bags meant for occasional cooking or product sampling. Staff are also observed to be jovial towards one another.
